Dell Scott is an American born, international designer, entrepreneur, author, and speaker who desires to empower women to embrace their inner brilliance. She is the founder and CEO of Dell Scott Enterprises, LLC. – Parent Company of the Dell Scott Collection.

Suffering from the challenges of being born with severe eczema, she encountered mental struggles with lack of confidence and low self-esteem. It was not until she grew much older that she realized her scars on the outside did not take away from the brilliance she possessed on the inside. Dell’s purpose and passion is to show women how to believe in themselves and realize that they are made in excellence through the platform of fashion. Her mission for empowerment is also shown through her philanthropic work with Go Red for Women and other various women’s organizations. Her passion has also had impact at a youth level within the educational system in her home state.

Blessed with a natural gift and an eye for detail, she is passionate about capturing the vibrancy and sensuality of women in her designs.

From her passion, the Dell Scott Collection was launched in 2015. As an International designer and Fashion Group International board member, Dell’s mission is to create a luxury fashion brand consisting of silhouettes that drape and accentuate every aspect of a woman, while displaying a strong sense of femininity and power. Her designs have been published in various national and international magazines as well as having graced the runways of Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Dubai.

As an author, her release of the “The Undiscovered Jewel: Realizing the Brilliance That Lies Within”, taps into the revelation that women need to know that they are precious and brilliant in order to reveal their “true selves” to the world. Dell has written freelance for various fashion magazines and is also a co-author of “Decisive Women,” Mogul in the Making and newly released, “She designed a Life She Loved”.

In a serendipitous journey marked by creativity, passion, and resilience, Marcus Jimenez, a former creative director has found his calling in shoe design. Emerging from a background rich in advertising and strategic planning, this designer’s path is as unique as the handcrafted footwear he now creates.

Growing up in Brooklyn in the 70s and 80s, he was immersed in a vibrant cultural tapestry that influenced his artistic pursuits. Educated in art schools and inspired by the artsy milieu of New York, he attended FIT for advertising and graphic design, diving headfirst into the advertising world.

Initially making waves in Hispanic marketing, a then-unknown industry, his talent was quickly recognized. After stints on Madison Avenue and with industry giants like Y&R, he relocated to Denver, breaking new grounds for Omnicom in Hispanic promotional marketing—a testament to his knack for identifying and capitalizing on ‘white spaces’.

His consultancy, launched after going independent, focused on strategic planning and data storytelling, attracting heavyweight clients like PepsiCo. Over the years, launching tech products further diversified his entrepreneurial ventures.

A pivotal moment arose serendipitously when taking a sneaker customization class with his son. What began as a bonding activity revealed a dormant passion for shoe design, that he fully explored and created!

In 2020, the pandemic became a catalyst for reflection and a career pivot towards his newfound passion. Establishing a studio in Denver, he embraced minimalist sneaker designs crafted in the US from global premium materials, targeting the luxury market, particularly consumers of color—an underserved demographic.

His passion is evident in his various community engagements, such as his collaborations with UCHealth and the Denver Nuggets, and more recently with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield for Breast Cancer Awareness initiatives. These projects hold a special significance for him, poignantly reflecting his mother’s battle with cancer and infusing his work with a deeper meaning.

Passion fuels his journey through the highs and lows of being a founder and a creator. In forging his own path, he highlights how intuition and an unyielding passion can navigate through uncertainties, leading to fulfilling ventures that encompass both personal joy and meaningful community impact.

This narrative exemplifies the transformative power of embracing one’s heritage, intuition, and serendipities—crafting not just shoes, but a legacy.

Balancing a career in professional football with family life was no easy feat, but Greg Jennings, a former NFL player, talks about how discipline that was garnered over the years, helped him leverage his trainging, that translated into on the field play, played a crucial role in maintaining that balance. He recounts how football “gave me a lot of structure” and helped separate work from home life. “Once I walked out of the facility, then I transitioned into now, I’m dad, or I’m husband,” he shared, emphasizing the importance of being fully present with loved ones.

His seamless transition from retirement from football, and a career transition further highlights this separation. “I had always created that barrier between work and home life,” he said.

After retiring, he smoothly shifted into the media landscape, working with Fox Sports and FS1 as a studio analyst and color commentator.

With a rich career spanning the Green Bay Packers, where he won the 2010 Super Bowl, to the Minnesota Vikings and the Miami Dolphins, he transitioned to life post-NFL. Now, he is highly involved in his children’s sports activities and has ventured into fitness and bodybuilding, even winning a few shows.

Family plays a central role. His children are active in various sports, with one daughter following his sporting legacy in college volleyball, another in gymnastics, another in volleyball, and his last one, playing flag football and basketball.

GREG JENNINGS Reflecting on his journey, he notes how his NFL experience broadened his horizons. It exposed him “to things that I otherwise would have never gained access to,” expanding both geographical and intellectual boundaries. For example, the shift from a student athlete to a professional was significant: “Going from being a student athlete to a professional athlete... to woah, this is my occupation now”, was eye-opening and encouraging for him, and others.

The transition wasn’t without its challenges, but with the support of his wife, Nicole, whom he married before entering the NFL, he navigated it successfully. “I’ve always had that help... it probably appeared more seamless than most because I wasn’t going about it on my own.”

A funny note though, Greg had his “welcome to the NFL” moment lining up against his idol, Charles Woodson. “It was surreal,” he recalls, getting over his fear. As a former NFL athlete myself, playing against your idol is a major challenge to overcome, and forces us to put scary moments into perspective on how we can handle everyday moments better.
