Department of Finance
The Department of Finance has been under some restructuring in the last few years and 2021 was again a year with many changes departmentally. A new Director of Accounting was hired at the end of May 2021 and then the work began of filling the departments various vacancies as to assist in the work of administering CARES programing for the Band’s COVID relieve and response effort. As we enter a new fiscal year the focus is on process improvement efforts, trainings of new directors and new staff, and filing all remaining departmental vacancies. Below is the 2021 preliminary numbers for the Band by Department. These numbers will be final after the annual audit is conducted.
