Ribbon Cutting of the Class III Gaming Amenities at Four Winds South Bend.

On Thursday August 5 the Pokagon Band unveiled the new Class III gaming amenities offered at its Four Winds South Bend Casino during a press conference and ribbon cutting ceremony. Members of the Pokagon Gaming Authority and Tribal Council, along with the Four Winds Casinos management team were accompanied by Indiana Governor Eric J. Holcomb; Sara Gonso Tait, Executive Director of the Indiana Gaming Commission; Ernest “Ernie” L. Stevens, Chairman and National Spokesperson for the National Indian

Gaming Association (NIGA) in Washington D.C.; E. Sequoyah Simermeyer (Coharie), Chairman of the National Indian Gaming Commission; South Bend Mayor, James Mueller; and Andrew T. Kostielney, President, St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners. Additional attendees included the Pokagon Gaming Commission, Pokagon Elders Council, Pokagon Citizens, Indiana Senators and Representatives, members of South Bend Government, representatives from the St. Joe County Commission, and community and business leaders.
