DONOR IMPACT REPORT

Dear Friends:

Thank you for giving and supporting the mission of Point University. Your faithful generosity undergirds the University’s work in preparing students for Christ-centered service and leadership in every aspect of life and all over the world. We simply could not do this without you – our donors.

We believe and trust that our Lord is going to do great and mighty things in the life of the University this academic year. Students will be challenged not only in their studies but challenged to pursue the Lord, live out their Christian worldview and serve others with purpose. Thank you for being a part of this work.

As you read the following pages of the 2024-25 Donor Impact Report, know that your gifts are felt, seen and valued across the University. If I can ever be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me or a member of the University’s Advancement Office.

FINDING POINT, FINDING PURPOSE

At Point University, senior biblical studies and preaching major Caleb Wade has found more than an education. He’s discovered his purpose and a community of people who spur him on to walk out that purpose.

“The most rewarding part of my college experience has been getting to build relationships with professors who have bought into me, believe in what I’m trying to accomplish and are always willing to help,” Wade said.

The two faculty members who have impacted him the most, Dr. Nathan Jones and Professor Wye Huxford, have invested in Wade both academically and spiritually.

“I believe I’ve built a relationship with both of these men that will last long after my time at Point,” said Wade. “Yes, they care about me from an academic standpoint, but they also care about me as a person.”

A biblical studies and preaching major, Wade plans to pursue a career in ministry as a pastor. Because of Point, he has been prepared for this career through opportunities to preach at local churches, complete a ministry internship and receive training in sermon preparation.

“Point has placed me in multiple situations that have helped me truly learn what it means to be a pastor,” he said.

In addition to his academics, Wade is a member of the Point University football team. There, he has learned life lessons in discipline that will follow him long after he graduates. “Football has taught me how to approach adversity and how your reaction to things can many times determine your outcome in problematic situations.”

He credits his success at Point University to the generous donors who have made it possible for him to receive his education. “Thanks to the generosity of our donors, I’ve been able to live more comfortably and focus more on my academics,” he said.

Point University continues to shape the lives of its students by forming them both academically and spiritually, and Caleb Wade is no exception. Said Wade, “Point University has blessed me in so many ways. I’m sure in ways I can’t even see yet. Thank you, Point University.”
