Traveling By: By: Makayla Oum (8th) and Janet Arcos (8th) Although it's a bit under the weather in our area. You may think, “hmm i should stay home” and yes sometimes staying home may be the best choice once and a while. Traveling could be another option. Traveling when it's not season can be better in many certain ways. Well, when traveling off season, some transportations can be a bit cheaper. Typically air transportation has certain deals and or discounts. Certain areas around the world tend to get more busy/alive in the warmer/hot climate. Places like Hawaii, Miami, Paris, and many other places. These areas are the most popular areas to travel to in the summer. Sooo, if you were to travel during winter/fall and maybe spring. The environment would be less swarmed with tourists and you'll most likely have more of a peaceful time. And yes, traveling is quite fun. But also you must be aware of the things around you like school, possibly work, and what's going on in the area. Genuinely traveling is also decently fun too! Although some seasons it can get cheaper. Traveling at the right time of the year is also pretty enjoyable in certain situations. Traveling when it's in season can benefit you by having the best of weather depending on the area you are going too! For example when traveling to perhaps a tropical area. More things tend to have more things open. Meaning, more stuff to do! Obviously we wouldn't wanna go on a water slide when it's freezing cold and raining. When's your next trip? Spring Break Ideas By: Davian Jimenez and Gustavo Singh (7th)

Spring Break varies through the days of March 18th and finishes off on march 25th. One long week to hangout with friends and family. Some things you can do on this break is go take a walk in the park or ride your bike around the neighborhood or to your friends house. You can go anywhere you want to go or you can just stay home. Some more ideas like the Epicenter is a good opportunity to hang out with friends. They have bowling, arcade, laser tag, and a jump zone. Spring cleaning is a good thing to keep you busy. You can tighty up the house or just your room. The pool is good too but the downside is the temperatures are gonna be low so not the best idea but still an idea the beach is just like the pool but probably colder. If you have some money to spend you could go to Disney or you can go to Six Flags for a bit less. If you feel like window shopping you could go to the mall in downtown or Coddingtown. You could learn a new skill like speaking another language or some basic woodworking skills. But if all else fails you can just play games at your house and invite friends to play.

Vacation A vacation doesn't need to be an expensive or lavish experience it could be something outside of town or maybe you could go to a theme park. A normal vacation would be going to places like Los Angeles, San Francisco, a campsite like Yellowstone or River Bend Resort. You could go to Lake Shasta and fish. You could go rock climbing. Go to a beach and have some fun. There are many things you can do over spring break. Hope you take these ideas and suggestions.
