Q: Why did you become a teacher?
A: Originally I wanted to be a PE teacher but that turned into being a math teacher. Working with kids and helping others so hopefully they can make an impact on the world.
Q: What are some of your hobbies?
A: The Great Outdoors certainly, bicycling, fantasy football, sports, hanging out with my sons.
Q: Did you always know that you wanted to be a teacher?
A: I think it was the first moment that I was teaching in the classroom when I was first helping out my before the credential program. Working with kids and then seeing that aha moment of students understanding things. Seeing the love of learning. I knew I didn't want to be a teacher for elementary school kids. I'm very sarcastic and sometimes those jokes they don't catch. Just seeing that moment where you're helping another student achieve something and then the good feeling you get inside. It’s certainly something that I enjoy.
