If this is your first summer at the lake, I hope that your new surroundings are everything you imagined they would be, before moving here. I know for many new owners, it may have been very challenging to find a resale home, so I’m glad it all worked out for you to be here. For those who haven’t found their perfect home yet due to limited resale home inventory, I encourage you to consider buying a lot and building. I know there have been assumptions made about lumber prices being high, and that builders won’t be able to start building anytime soon, but I can assure you that new construction is still a cost effective option, regardless of material increases. And, the sooner you purchase your land, the sooner you can start the process of joining us in this wonderful community. There are many desirable building locations still available, so don’t get discouraged if you haven’t found your perfect home yet. Our latest project is a rowing and kayaking program that is both recreational and therapeutic, open to all Veterans and First Responders.
