Dark Green Subway Tile
I was inspired at “Camp Augusta” to select dark green subway tile with off-white grout after walking in a tiled bathroom at The Polo Bar in New York City. Additional inspiration can be found online by visting Philadelphia Magazine. Special thanks to Jordon Green & his entire team at The Floor Source (See Page 11) who supplied and installed all the tile including Camp Summer of ‘69 & Camp Naomi. Don’t be afraid to go green!

White Subway Tile
At Camp Summer of ‘69, I wanted to go with a more classic theme for this well-known A-Frame, and I thought adding in a darker grout to the white subway tile would feel more campy. Black Moen plumbing fixtures worked well with the dark grout, as chome would have been my second choice. This camp was featured in Philadelphia Magazine, The New York Times, and Cozy Cabins & Cottages, and maybe even Pinterest.
Black Subway Tile

To change things up, I wanted to experiment using black subway tile at Camp Naomi, and am so glad we did. The fancy look of this black subway tile was enhanced with off-white grout and brushed gold Moen plumbing fixtures. Walls were painted by J. Anthony Painting in Ben-Moore Chantilly Lace to offset the darker subway tile. Additional inspiration can be found online in Philadelphia Magazine.
