Beachcombers Bazaar

Daily Tour Schedule: 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm, and Sunset Cruise – 6:00pm Learn about Deception Pass, the Bridge and surrounding area on this amazing tour aboard the “Island Whaler.” Tours start at just $21 per person! Saturday, June 18 The Beachcombers Bazaar, a community garage sale sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Oak Harbor., will be held June 21 from 9 am to 3 pm at Windjammer (formerly city beach) Park in Oak Harbor.

Vendors will feature a variety of products including antiques, tools, books, toys, arts and crafts, shrubbery, furniture, greeting cards, birdhouses, rummage sale items, and food.

In addition, the All Island Concert Band will provide a concert from 2-3 pm.

Island Count y Historical Museum Summer Exhibit: “The Menace of Mechanical Music” June 15 - September 11 A direct quote by famous bandleader John Phillip Sousa, who predicted the end of live music when Edison’s famous record machine first appeared - and recorded music was brought into our homes (“I want my MTV!”). A great assortment of record players, radios, and special performances by our amazing 1920 Wurlitzer Band Organ (and some live music too!) will be featured as our special Summer exhibit!

Saddle up with Equestrian Crossings Equestrian Crossings is now taking signups for its summer session which lasts from July 5 through Aug. 12.

Equestrian Crossings, a nonprofit equine-assisted activities program, offers more than simply riding lessons.

Certified instructors offer classes on inhand ground work, sport riding, physical

therapy and vaulting to all persons, including those with special needs.
