Prayers That Make A Difference

The Christian Science church has been part of the South Whidbey community since the early 1900s. Our church is one of the branches of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston Massachusetts, with a worldwide healing mission based on the teachings of Christ Jesus. We welcome you to our services and encourage you to discover how scientific spiritual prayer can bring healing into your life. On Sundays at 10:30 am we come together to pray, sing hymns and listen to a lessonsermon from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary

Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. These two books serve as our “pastor” maintaining the focus on the pure, inspired word. Christian Scientists study this lessonsermon throughout the week and bring their own inspiration to the service. Sunday School is offered for young people to learn what the Bible teaches of God’s infinite goodness and to learn about their relationship to God as their loving Father-Mother. They will discover how to make the Bible and Science and Health useful and relevant guides in their lives. On the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 we gather for a testimony meeting that

features inspirational readings from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. Those attending have an opportunity to share insights, experiences and healings they’ve had as a result of their prayer, study and practice of Christian Science. It’s a wonderful way to see how others are solving problems and finding healing through Christian Science prayer. Visit our website www. christiansciencesouthwhidbey. com or learn more about Christian Science at www. christianscience.com Our church is located at 15910 Highway 525, just north of Bayview and across from Useless Bay Road.
