Last year was probably my best season because I put a lot of effort in while also having fun.

If you could pick a superpower, what would it be and why?:
I would want to fly because it would give me an opportunity to think, reflect, and put everything in perspective. Also, treetops and mountaintops would be much more accessible. And flying is just really cool. It’s a win all around.

Plans & Dreams for the Future:
I plan to go to college and graduate, then get a job as a Japanese Translator and Japanese Language Teacher.
Most Memorable Moments:
Sitting in Val’s room, waiting for the students who got picked for Japanese Connection to be announced; my stomach dropping as Val does her speech about losing. I remember being handed the paper and marching straight out of the room, to open it with the support of my mother. With the anticipation eating at my soul I peeled open the letter and began to read. I got in.
If you could pick a superpower, what would it be and why?:
I’m assuming that the setting of me getting granted this super power would occur in this reality, with no others having any abilities; and in such a setting I would choose the power to heal. There are multiple reasons for this. In reality, more aggressive powers would be quite useless-for example, what are you going to use super strength for? Being a construction worker? Healing would allow me to be a hero in the world; I could help millions. It can also be used to give you a lot of money and fame...

I would like to work with Americorp NCCC or another division of Americorp for a few years. Afterward, I am considering going to a trade/ technical school and training as an electrician. Since this is a trade that will be necessary virtually everywhere, it will not keep me tied to a location (as much). I would also like to travel and develop more as an artist.
If you could pick a superpower, what would it be and why?:
Omnilingualism (the ability to speak/ understand/write any language instantly) because it would allow me to talk to virtually anyone. It would make traveling a lot easier, as well as learning about other cultures (mistranslation/ losing or changing meaning through translation terrifies me). It’s also pretty useful. -OR- Shape shifting, because, again, it could make travel simpler. I could, also, theoretically, always have the perfect model for art projects. I would never have to worry about getting the wrong size of clothing. Cosplay and other costume opportunities would be endless.

I am going to the East Coast and am planning on majoring in Biophysics with a Minor in Theater. I will go on to medical school and become a doctor, eventually.
Most Memorable Moments:
When my best friend Tiger got accepted to UC Santa Cruz. He told me that hard work pays off. The way his eyes were shining, that is something that I never want to forget. There are so many things that my friends and I have been through together.
If you could pick a superpower, what would it be and why?:
I wish I could go back in time. Not to change things, just to feel a few things once again.
I would choose to create anything from nothing—to create anything I could ever imagine—and to provide myself, and those I love, with what we need to live.

Continue with education
Because I’m only 16, I plan to take a gap year from school and spend that time working, going on mission trips, and preparing for university in 2017. As for my future plans during and after university, I plan to achieve a degree in something that I love, find just the right job to fit my needs, to continue serving others under God’s will, and find the right woman to marry and spend the rest of my life with.
Most Memorable Moments: Having fun in class.
Most Memorable Moments:
Every year for as long as I can remember, my extended family has all gotten together for a week or so to have what we call “Cousins Camp”, and each has been fabulous. All of our family trips to Hawaii. I have been tap dancing ever since I was 8, and I have loved all the benefits and recitals thereof. Finally, I love my family and friends all over the world, and every moment with them I hold precious to my heart.
