Welcome to the 2015-16 sports season!

T

his season we are looking forward to competing with our fellow Western Conference teams. We appreciate all the support the Oak Harbor community has provided to our teams over the years. This year you will see a new set of scoreboards in the field house that were purchased using Oak Harbor Wildcat Athletic Booster Club funds.

The previous score boards were breaking down and we had patched them back together many times over the years and they finally had to be replaced. Without the help of the booster club we could not have made this upgrade that was greatly needed. The new system is wireless, the shot clocks are mounted on the bottom of the main boards, all of the lights are LED and no longer need replacing and the days of cords running everywhere are over. Every parent, community member, student and Navy partner that has volunteered in the concession stand serving food at games made this purchase possible.

We do not have needs this great every year, but requests do come up and the concession stand sales are the main source of revenue for the booster club. The purchases of large equipment, like the scoreboards, scholarships to cover the cost of sport fees requested by students in need and the funding given to every team each year comes from those who volunteer in the concession stand. Your continued support is appreciated and recognized. Please continue to support the NICKI LUPER booster club by becoming a member, purchasing advertising for your business or working in the ATHLETIC DIRECTOR • • • concession stand during a contest.
