This car came to rest on an embankment around 7 p.m. Friday, March 13, behind a Rayonier gate near Valley View along Bogachiel Way after being involved in a police chase. The driver fled the scene. Responding were law enforcement, firefighters and medics. The car knocked out this large locked gate. Photo by Lonnie Archibald

At approximately 7 p.m. on Friday, March 13, Forks Police Officer Mike Gentry was in a vehicle pursuit ending in a collision with suspect Dillan J. Klepps of Forks. The suspect is still at large for multiple charges including a Department of Corrections warrant, eluding a police vehicle, reckless driving, criminal trespass 2, obstructing a law enforcement officer, malicious mischief 2, and driving while license suspended in the third degree.
