he Seattle Seahawks finished the preseason 2-2 August 28 losing 41-31 to the Oakland Raiders. But all eyes will be on Seattle as the National Football League regular season starts Thursday when the Hawks face the Green Bay Packers. And no 12th Man will be more prepared for the first game of the season than a group of friends who consider themselves to be an “extension of the Seahawks.” This group of friends unveiled their double decker, Seahawk-decked out bus to family and friends Thursday in Lake Tapps. “The Beast” as the group calls the bus is not named after the Hawks’ beloved running back Marshawn Lynch. One of the owners, Gary, said they chose the name after the President’s
limo. Most of those connected with the group of owners hold season tickets but before each game they will be enjoying all the amenities this bus has to offer. It houses three TVs, a beer pong table, a replica Lombardi trophy, King Dome chairs, a bar, goal posts, a graveyard equipped with tombstones from past opponents and much more. This is the second bus the group has worked with. The first bus was totaled by a logging truck on its way up from San Francisco. “It was jinxed,” Gary said. From the design to the finished product, it has taken six months to complete this ultimate tailgating bus. “We have one common goal, to support the best team in the NFL,” Gary said.
