2014 Auburn Days Pioneer Spirit Jim Fletcher Jim graduated from Auburn High School and came back to teach there. He has a long, illustrious history of successful careers, serving his community, being a good father, Auburn Community Art Exhibition at City Hall grandfather, husband and friend. 2014 Auburn Days Grand Marshal Virginia Cross Book Swap and Book Fair Virginia graduated from Auburn High School and went on to earn her master’s degree. AUBURN AVENUE THEATER SATURDAY MATINEE DOUBLE FEATURE She came back to her hometown to become the first director of the Headstart program “THEM” AND AMERICAN GRAFFITI - FREE! of the Muckleshoot Tribe, which is celebrating its 50th year. She is a Muckleshoot Tribal Council chairperson and has been on the council for 30Street years. Her impact on Auburn’s Dance with “The Fabulous Murphtones” educational programs is legendary.
