Juanita Friday Market June 6–September 26 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Juanita Beach Park juanitafridaymarket Located at the spacious Juanita Beach Park, the Juanita Friday Market offers delicious locally grown fruits, fresh produce, beautiful flowers and handmade crafts. Special guests are featured in the community booth and there is live music all summer long.

2nd and 4th Saturdays July – August Dusk, 4100 Carillon Point Watch the sun set over Lake Washington followed by an outdoor movie at Carillon Point Plaza. Kirkland Wednesday Market June 4–September 24 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Marina Park This vibrant weekly market brings local farmers and artisans to Marina Park on Lake Washington. The Market features an array of ready-to-eat food, produce, flowers, berries, fruit, jewelry, fish, meats, cheeses, honey, and handmade goods.

Tuesday Children’s Concerts July 8–August 19 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Juanita Beach Park The Children’s Concerts series on Tuesday mornings is one of the only child-themed concert series in the area and the 2014 series features Caspar Babypants, Recess Monkeys and We are the Not It’s.

Bluefish Festival, June 7 Peter Kirk Park and KTUB Join the Kirkland Youth Council and Kirkland Teen Union Building (KTUB) for the 13th Annual Bluefish Festival—a showcase of music and art for local teens. Local bands perform during the event and there is a gallery of art in the KTUB. The event is free and includes a barbecue.



Celebrate Kirkland’s 4th of July Parade Picnic & Fireworks July 4 Various times and locations Join in the fun at Kirkland’s annual Fourth of July celebration featuring a “decorate to celebrate” event for kids at Marina Park Pavilion, followed by a parade, live music, Rotary Duck Dash and a picnic. The evening finishes off with a fantastic fireworks display over Marina Park with viewing from Kirkland’s bountiful waterfront parks.

Kirkland Uncorked July 18–20 Marina Park Enjoy this regional showcase of art, food and wine on the picturesque shores of Lake Washington. The festival features wines from world-class Washington wineries, bite-sized feasts from notable Eastside restaurants, and appearances from the Northwest’s most prestigious celebrity chefs and culinary personalities. Kirkland Classic Car Show July 27 Downtown Kirkland The 12th Annual Kirkland Classic Car show, presented by Kirkland Downtown Association and hosted by Legends Car Club is one of the largest car show events on the Eastside. More than 600 hot rods and classic cars will be parked along Marina Park and downtown Kirkland. Free.


No. 123 Rue des Park Lane Aug 2, 10 a.m. Haley’s Cottage, 123 Park Lane This French-inspired flea market features local Northwest companies on Park Lane in Downtown Kirkland. The event is vintage inspired and includes many handmade items from over 40 vendors. Denny Park The Park to Park swim is a fun, non-competitive 1.42-mile swim across Lake Washington from Matthews Beach, Seattle, to O.O. Denny Park, Kirkland. Proceeds from the swim benefit the Emergency Patient Assistance Fund at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
