The Whidbey Island Massage Guild was formed in 2003 to connect licensed massage practitioners together on Whidbey Island. The Greater Freeland Chamber of Commerce is a partnership of business and professional people working together to build a healthy economy and improve the quality of life in Freeland and surrounding communities.
Our mission statement is simple and direct: To develop a strong and growing business community, expanding business partnerships in our vibrant island community. We offer monthly luncheons with interesting speakers. Our members offer Business After Hours events at their places of business. We sponsor several dinner events. We manage two Visitors Information Centers, one in Freeland, the other at Ken’s Corner Kiosk. The annual Greater Freeland Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic and Auction is our largest fundraising event, and includes an afternoon wine tasting. We encourage members to bring a guest to any of our events. Our monthly newsletter is mailed to over 200 businesses, and is emailed to hundreds of people; your newsletter advertising will be seen. Business Sponsors for our monthly lunches receive 5 minutes to present anything they’d like about their business. Our website is open 24/7, and is a great tool for business contacts as well as visitor information. These opportunities encourage our members to network together, and share resources and contacts.
