The Kirkland Events Foundation is a non-profit, public charity, and community foundation serving Kirkland, WA. The Foundation produces Kirkland Summerfest, a weekend celebration of art, music, and culture this upcoming Aug 9th, 10th, & 11th, 2013. Kirkland Summerfest August 9, 10, 11 www.kirklandsummerfest.com FREE Admission Summerfest is Kirkland’s largest summer festival of music, art, food & culture. Transforming Kirkland’s Marina Park and downtown core into a lively arts destination with music, dancing, street performances, and family entertainment, Kirkland Summerfest features dozens of events including: Shakespeare in the Park—The Tempest performed at Marina Park. Friday, Aug 9, 7 pm Music—on five stages, with more than 50 performers, and welcoming Northwest Folklife as a part of our musical lineup.
