Unable to recover from the recent recession, Renton Western Wear struggled in sales during the years following and owners had to make the tough decision to close the family business of 62 years. As Jerry Kavesh, co-owner with his sister Gina, looks back on the company, he doesn’t blame anyone but the economy for Renton Western Wear’s demise and has fond memories of “It’s a family legacy; his experiences with it’s working with my the Renton business.
