TRAVEL PRESENTATION PARIS TO NORMANDY

2013 MEDICARE PRESCRIPTION DRUG SEMINAR

The Oak Harbor Senior Center in partnership with the SHIBA (Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors) HelpLine, invites you to a free community presentation on the 2013 Medicare Prescription Drug Program. Topics include changes in the Part D benefits., Extra Help for the Part D benefits, how to choose a Prescription Drug Plan and what to watch out for. A representative from the SHIBA HelpLine program will be presenting at this workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, 10 am at the Oak Harbor Senior Center.

Snow Man Quilt Raffle

sland County Commissioner Angie Homola will present the Island County Veteran’s Program at the Oak Harbor Senior Center Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 1 pm. Come and learn about support services that are available to veterans in Island County. RSVP by calling 279-4580.

Members of the Center Piecers display the beautiful hand appliqued Snow Man Quilt they made. Members were responsible for one or two squares of the quilt. Raffle tickets are $1and available at the Front Desk. Drawing will be held Friday, December 14 so winner will be able to enjoy it during the holidays.

2012 VOTER ACCESSIBILITY PROGRAM Your Vote, Your Voice!

The Voter Accessibility Program, for Island, San Juan, Skagit & Whatcom Counties, wants to spread the word that we will help eliminate barriers that may impact eligible voters’ access to either register or to vote due to some disability that they have. Regardless of disability, as long as the resident is eligible to vote in Washington State, our goal is to assist them so they may fully participate in our democracy. hine on, shine on Harvest Moon up in the sky. We’ve had no dancing since July! So shine on, shine on Harvest Moon, for me and my pals. Join us in the silvery light of the “Harvest Moon Dance” with Nick At Nite (Nick Nicholai & Friends), Saturday, Oct.13 from 7–9:30 pm, at the Oak Harbor Senior Center. We’ll have Apple Pie at intermission. Admission is $5 per person at the door. Open to the Public.
