I will be leaving Nickel Ads the end of August and want to say that Nickel Ads has been good to me the 30-years that I’ve been here. I started in 1983 with the original owners of the paper.. The Crawfords… Sam & Joyce. after I started they sold it to Capital Cities out of New York! Than Disney bought us… owned us for a time… they sent us Disney park tickets every year and I was able to take 3 families to Disneyland in California, I actually won a trip to Florida because of my sales! Then Lee Enterprises bought us… my family received a Free week vacation at Lee Lodge in Montana, beautiful place. We merged with the Little Nickel soon after that… and the last owner, Sound Publishing out of Washington bought us. Its been a long journey… I have fond memories of our Stark Street office and all the wonderful people I worked with. I’ve met some cool people along the way. I want to thank my Manager, Randy for being such a good boss… I will miss three great gals that I currently work with and a lot of people up north in various positions!
