Pacific Research Laboratorie is now accepting applications for two (2) temporary positions:
Trimmer (1) Assembler (1) The Trimmer prepares bones for shipping and/or assembly. Job Duties include: Trims bones in a safe and expedient manner while meeting production goals, checks with supervisor for priority schedule and for any other questions, scuffs , plugs specific models as necessary and occasionally does minor assemblies, checks parts for quality by using masters, counts and performs final quality control and transfers bones to trim shelves, maintains daily production log, does thorough clean up of entire area, fills and labels glue and accelerator bottles as needed, performs other duties as required. Manual dexterity, hand/eye coordination, attention to detail required. High school diploma or equivalent required. The Assembler assembles individual parts into specific models to match the master or in accordance with specified model. Also fractures models per masters. Job Duties include: Reviews master and paperwork to check order and proper assembly, checks parts for quality and prepares them for assembly, follows master and assembles parts accordingly, using proper type of glue and accelerator (this assembly may include the drilling of bones, the gluing of a variety of materials, and other related tasks), double checks parts before sending to Shipping, fills and labels glue bottles and accelerator bottles as needed, completes daily log documenting work, maintains orderly and clean work station, and vacuums area at end of shift, may occasionally trim parts, must be able to lift 35 lbs., performs other duties as required. Manual dexterity, hand/eye coordination, ability to meet and maintain quotas, ability to work independently and as a team member required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Hours are 6:00 a.m. â€“ 2:30 p.m. Trimmer rate $10 per hour. Assembler rate $11 per hour. The work week is Monday through Friday. These are temporary summer positions that do not include benefits.
