The chain was presented on the field showcasing acts of kindness from the communities of Enumclaw and Black Diamond. The White River School District also sent some bags of links. Enumclaw School District Superintendent Mike Nelson said the chain reached more than two miles long. Each link had an act of kindness written on it. Also speaking at the event were Enumclaw Mayor Liz Reynolds and Black Diamond Mayor Becky Olness. Dave Gamache was the featured speaker and Black Diamond Elementary student Grace Doleshel gave closing remarks.
