IMPACT REPORT

Healthy things grow! As another school year wraps up, I’m beyond thankful for the way God has blessed our ministry. We are growing. As of June 1 , we have 115 staff that have said yes to pursuing the mission to lead every coach and athlete in a growing relationship with Jesus and his church through our strategy of engaging relationally, equipping spiritually and empowering others to lead. st

Our volunteers and staff are daily having collisions with coaches and athletes in the context of meaningful relationship, pointing them to God’s word and challenging them to be leaders in the world of sport. Professions of faith are being made Baptisms are happening and God’s glory is on display.

You are moving the needle and advancing His Kingdom. Thank you! As you read the stories in this report don’t forget your role on this team. You are invested in a movement of discipleship the Northwest has never seen. We are truly better together!

God Bless, RJ

LEGENDS FOOTBALL CAMP

This spring at Franklin High School in P Football Clinic hosted by former NFL offered more than just elite football tra catalyst for spiritual impact in the lives across greater Portland.

The one-day, free clinic drew 55 high sc from 18 different campuses, each receiv coaching but a clear message: Jesus is Josh Andrews, now a coach and referee staff from across the greater Portland a and the head football coach from Geor create a day rooted in leadership, faith, former NFL and collegiate athletes lead their testimonies, players were challeng not as their identity, but as a platform t

“The win of this event was hearing Josh the other coaches consistently speak to bigger than football,” said FCA Area Director Ty Collier “Listening to each coach talk about how their faith is their anchor rather than the sport they love was powerful. Legends was a high-level clinic with high-level coaches, highlevel drills & skills, and high-level faith.”

Throughout the day, athletes received instruction, encouragement, and even their own Athlete’s Bibles tools to help them grow beyond the game. One parent left the event moved by the spiritual emphasis and grateful for the resources shared with her son

The Legends Football Clinic is more than an event It’s a movement—raising up a new generation of leaders who use their influence on and off the field to point others to Christ

Hope Rising in the Portland South

Hope Rising in Portland South

As Huddles wrap up and seniors graduate, the ripple effect of student ministry is evident across the region. At a recent FCA-led baccalaureate, a school administrator from the Portland South area shared through tears:

“As a school administrator who also believes in Jesus, I’ve been so encouraged and inspired by the impact that FCA has had on our campus It gives me hope to know that with the help of FCA and partnerships with our local churches, athletes and coaches have community to grow in their faith and be equipped to be disciple makers I’m just so thankful for the commitment of the FCA staff and volunteers who make this environment possible for our students.”

This testimony is a powerful reminder of how FCA is not only shaping students but also encouraging educators and transforming school communities.

Staff Feature: Payton Bingley

Since the end of her collegiate soccer career at Gonzaga, Payton has sensed God’s consistent call to serve studentathletes That call became even clearer as she worked in the University of Washington’s athletic department and began to feel a deeper pull toward ministry

“When a door closed on a job I applied for at UW, I was confused and disappointed,” she shared. “But in that moment, I surrendered my career to the Lord and prayed, ‘Send me.’ My husband and I prayed every day for clarity, and through that season of prayer and affirmation, God led me to FCA.”

Now serving as an FCA Area Representative, Payton is reaching athletes and coaches across the University of Washington, Seattle Pacific University, Seattle University, and Northwest University What excites her most about this role? The potential for spiritual revival

“College athletics is shifting, and more athletes are using their platforms to glorify God. If we disciple them well, their testimonies could spark movements on their campuses and beyond. We’re seeing it happen at schools like Ohio State and UW has the same opportunity.”

Payton’s personal experience as a student-athlete deeply shapes her ministry She gave her life to Christ at 17 but describes her college years as a time of lukewarm faith and hidden struggle

“I wrestled with homesickness, anxiety, depression, and a sense of spiritual drifting I’ve walked through some incredibly hard things but now I see how God is redeeming every piece of my story. So many college athletes are searching for hope, and I want to meet them where they are and point them to Jesus.”

Through mentorship, discipleship, and intentional presence, Payton is committed to helping student-athletes thrive not just in their sport, but in their walk with Christ

“My heart is to make their experience better than mine and the only way to do that is to teach them how to walk with Jesus in their everyday life ”
