CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE The Coastal Urban Collection is very easy to maintain because of its Maxim Shield™ UV finish. Only use the retailer’s recommended cleaning products, such as a rinse-free hardwood floor cleaner. These cleaners should be applied with a specialty terry cloth flooring duster, which is available from most flooring retailers. Step 1: Vacuum or sweep to remove any particles that could scratch your floor. Warning: Vacuums with a beater bar or power rotary brush head can damage a wood floor. Step 2: Apply the approved cleaner directly to the terry cloth floor cleaning duster not to the hardwood flooring! Step 3: Use a back and forth motion with the duster. When the terry cloth cover becomes soiled simply replace with a clean cover. Cleaning the floor with soiled cover could cause streaking.
Tips & Warnings: - Never wet or damp mop your hardwood floors, it may damage them. - Keep animal nails trimmed. - Vacuum or sweep regularly. - Never use oil soaps, wax or other household products to clean your floors. -Always use felt protective pads under chair legs & other furnishings with direct contact to the wood floors.
