Fifty years a Team At the end of October, the Team organised an open event at the Rescue Centre. Supporter, ‘Hank’ Marvin
Among the visitors was ‘Hank’ Marvin, a supporter who brought along a ukulele with some of his friends from the Bryce Street Strummers and ended up creating a band for the afternoon. “The music really added to the atmosphere,” says Jacquie, “and the afternoon went well overall. We are thinking of holding an open day each year for supporters and the public to come and have look round. Everyone said it was a really positive day and fascinating to see how donations are spent.”
