FOREWORD
Die PLUTSCHOW GALLERY bietet ein internationales Programm wichtiger Künstler und Werke des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts. Wir arbeiten dabei direkt mit Künstlern und Nachlässen zusammen. Durch verschiedene Medien wie Malerei, Skulptur, Fotografie, Installation und Video lehren uns die Künstler der Galerie neue Arten des Sehens und Denkens.
PLUTSCHOW GALLERY offers an international program of important artists of the 20th and 21st Century. Herefore, we have been working directly with artists and estates. Through various media such as painting, sculpture, photography, installation and video, the artists of the gallery teach us new ways of seeing and thinking.
Wir verankern unsere grossartigen Räume mit einem ambitiösen qualitativ hochstehenden Programm, in welchem wir Künstler verschiedener Herkunft und Nationalitäten zeigen.
We are anchoring our outstanding space with an ambitious and art historically important program including artists with various backgrounds and nationalities.
Wir zeigen Nachlässe von Künstlern, die einen grossen Einfluss auf die nachfolgenden Generationen von Künstlern hatten und repräsentieren Künstler, die eine kunstgeschichtliche Wichtigkeit erlangt haben und einen starken Einfluss auf die folgenden Generationen von Künstlern ausüben, sowie jüngere Künstler, die erforschen, wie der Einfluss von Technologie und zeitgenössischer Kultur die Menschheit ändern und beeinflussen. PLUTSCHOW GALLERY zeigte wichtige Ausstellungen von Künstlern wie Robert Delaunay, Heinz Mack, Otto Piene, Turi Simeti, Saint Clair Cemin, Zineb Sedira, Miltos Manetas, Gal Weinstein, David Casini, Luciano Castelli, Riccardo Beretta und vielen mehr. Wir teilen den Traum einen Ort zu entwickeln, der einen sozialen Knoten- und Treffpunkt der Experimentation darstellt, bei welchem die Definition und die Bedeutung von Kunst ständig hinterfragt werden. Unser Ziel ist es eine bedeutende Präsenz zu erarbeiten sowohl lokal als auch global.
We show estates of artists, who had a big influence to the following generations of artists, represent artists, who gained an art historical importance and also maintain a big influence to future generations of artists, as well as younger artists who explore how the intersection of technology and contemporary culture is changing humanity, with this heavily weighted topic transferred into a visual language. PLUTSCHOW GALLERY mounted important exhibitions of artists like Robert Delaunay, Heinz Mack, Otto Piene, Turi Simeti, Saint Clair Cemin, Zineb Sedira, Miltos Manetas, Gal Weinstein, David Casini, Luciano Castelli, Riccardo Beretta and many more. We share a dream to create a space, which provides a social hub for experimentation where the definition and meaning of art is constantly being challenged. Our aim is to gain a significant presence both locally and globally.
