Guilherme Silva Aguiar,

based in São Paulo, Brazil, leads a quiet lifestyle as a woodworker with a deep passion for bodybuilding.

His journey in the fingerboard scene began after leaving a job at a mall when his father, a carpenter, invited him to join the family trade. Inspired by his father’s suggestion, he started crafting obstacles and fingerboard parks, quickly discovering a passion for the craft.

In just a year since founding Ollie Ramps, he has already produced six fingerboard parks, with the standout being the “Central Plaza Park.” He is currently working on new designs for upcoming events.

6SKATES A Family-Run Space for the Community

6SKATES is more than just a Fingerboard shop—it is a family-run hub for the fingerboarding community, owned and operated by Vito and his son Dom. Based in Toronto, Canada, the shop is built on a love for fingerboarding and the desire to create a space where fingerboarders can gather, session, and grow together. What started as a passion has turned into a movement, strengthening the local scene and providing a home for fingerboarders of all levels.

From Hobby to Business: The Birth of 6Skates

Founded in 2017, 6Skates originally started out making full-size cruiser decks before rediscovering the world of fingerboarding. The transition was a natural one, blending the craftsmanship and dedication that went into skateboard decks with the intricate details of fingerboarding.

The fingerboarding community in Toronto lacked a dedicated space where fingerboarders could come together and build a scene that rivaled those in Europe and the U.S. Recognizing the gap, the physical 6Skates shop was launched as a one-stop shop for fingerboard products, events, and community gatherings.

Starting small, 6Skates quickly became the heart of the local fingerboarding scene. Whether through hosting meetups, sponsoring contests, or carrying hard-to-find brands, the shop has built a loyal following of fingerboarders who see it as more than just a store.

The Evolution of 6Skates - From its humble beginnings to becoming a cornerstone of the Toronto fingerboarding scene, 6Skates has continually grown. The shop carries an impressive selection of decks, trucks, wheels, ramps, and obstacles from the best brands worldwide. It is also a gathering space, featuring two Blackriver parks that are always open for sessions at no charge.

6Skates does not just sell products—it strives to build the scene. Hosting events like *Boards by the Beach*, collaborating with brands on exclusive releases, and creating a welcoming space for fingerboarders has helped solidify the shop as a key player in the community. But more than anything, 6Skates is about bringing people together. The shop is fueled by the energy of its visitors, the friendships formed over sessions, and the shared passion for fingerboarding.

As part of its commitment to growing the scene, 6Skates has also brought featured guests to Toronto events, including current Fast Fingers champion Ramon Angelo and well-known fingerboard influencers FB Christopher and JakePFB. These visits have

Company O.T.M.

helped elevate the local scene, giving Toronto fingerboarders direct access to some of the biggest names in the community. In addition, 6Skates hosted the Blackriver team in the shop last year, further cementing its reputation as a must-visit spot for international fingerboarders.

The Love for Travel & Events — 6Skates is not just about the local scene—it is dedicated to traveling to events and connecting with the global fingerboarding community. From Germany to California, the shop has made it a priority to attend events, support other shops, and bring back fresh ideas to keep the local scene thriving. Meeting new fingerboarders, seeing different styles, and being part of the bigger picture is what continues to inspire the growth of 6Skates.

Memorable Moments & Future Plans — One of the most unforgettable moments for 6Skates was hosting *Boards by the Beach*, an annual event that draws fingerboarders from across the region. Seeing the community come together, push their limits, and celebrate fingerboarding in a high-energy setting is what makes the work behind 6Skates worthwhile.

Looking forward, 6Skates has big plans—more events, expanded product lines, and collaborations with brands and fingerboarders. With the upcoming *FingerboardCon 3*, 6Skates is excited to partner with Blackriver and Slushcult to create an even bigger and better event. These partnerships bring new opportunities to the community and help push the scene forward.

SXL: Elevating FINGERBOARDING in PUERTO RICO! SPOT O.T.M.

Deep in the streets of Ponce, where the heat rises off the pavement and skate culture runs deep, Francisco Quiñones Medina is building something special. He’s not just another fingerboarder—he’s a creator, a fabricator, and the mind behind SXL, a brand bringing handcrafted obstacles, ramps, and rails to the island’s underground fingerboarding scene.

Francisco has been fingerboarding for 24 years, but two years ago, he found his crew—the Titere Crew—a tight-knit family pushing the scene forward. Together, they’ve been hitting up events across Puerto Rico, putting fingerboarding on the map with raw, DIY energy. Cultura Sobre Ruedas was a major moment—an event that fused fingerboarding with art and music, proving that this isn’t just a hobby; it’s a movement.

The journey into park-building started in the early 2000s with nothing but cardboard and tape. But in 2022, Francisco and his friend Jboy took things to the next level, mixing 3D printing, woodworking, and design to create obstacles that blur the line between miniature and reality. Now, SXL is known for detailed, realistic spots that carry the soul of Puerto Rico’s skate culture.

One of his proudest builds? Titere Academy—a three-level fingerboard park inspired by a real school, complete with handrails, grass gaps, and authentic street art. This project wasn’t just about obstacles—it was a community effort, pulling in local artists and welders to craft a space that felt alive.

What’s next? Events like Titereteo 2.0, cement pieces, and replicas of legendary Puerto Rican skate spots—plus a top-secret project still under wraps. Whatever comes next, Francisco and SXL are keeping it real, keeping it raw, and keeping Puerto Rico’s fingerboarding scene grinding forward.

Austin Dodge: Cover Skater Making Moves

in Barrie, Ontario

Hailing from the vibrant city of Barrie, Ontario, Austin Dodge is a local skater and sponsored fingerboarder who has carved out his place in the scene with style and precision. Known for his dedication to the craft, Austin’s journey began in the winter of 2018 with nothing more than an old Tech Deck and a bit of curiosity. Little did he know, that moment would spark a deep passion that would take him to the top of competitions and earn him sponsorship recognition.

Barrie, Ontario, located north of Toronto along the shores of Lake Simcoe, is known for its strong skateboarding community and local hubs that foster talent in both fullsized and fingerboard skateboarding. The city’s growing fingerboard scene has given Austin the perfect platform to showcase his skills and push the limits of what’s possible on a tiny deck. As he progressed, Austin started crafting creative setups at home using books, binders, and tools as obstacles. It wasn’t long before he upgraded to his first pro fingerboard—a 34mm Berlinwood deck with black BRTs and Oak Wheels—and began catching the attention of the community through social media. His talent and consistency led to a sponsorship with KOYO Fingerboards, a respected local deck company.

Austin’s most memorable moment came on January 4, 2025, at the Missing Wax event at Freaky Wizard Café. Competing in a “best trick” contest on a WestondaleCustoms 5-stair tabletop, he confidently called out a switch flip backside noseblunt on the hubba—then landed it first try with absolute perfection. That legendary trick secured him 1st place, along with the coveted tabletop and some well-earned prizes. With undeniable talent and a growing reputation, Austin Dodge is proving that Barrie is home to some serious fingerboard talent. Keep an eye on this cover skater— his journey is just getting started! -- axtn.fb

From Skateparks to Fingerboards:

@fiddlyfingersfb.au

Josh Fontana, aka @fiddlyfingersfb.au, A happy bubbly friendly dude grew up by the beaches of Perth, Western Australia, shredding skateparks from age 10. A two-time state champion and Australian “Do the Dew” finalist, Josh’s competitive skating career paused after a knee injury. However, his passion reignited in 2024 through fingerboarding during a difficult time after losing his aunt.

Fingerboarding became a source of healing, leading Josh to join the BlackSheep FxBxC crew and land sponsorships with Stormryder Fingerboards, Spit Boards, and Obsious FB Trucks. Today, he channels his joy and creativity into the community, building connections and inspiring others.

Nick Diemer, hailing from Williamsport, Pennsylvania, is a guy with a big heart, a passion for fingerboarding, and a knack for making rad videos. He’s the kind of person who’s always up for a good time, whether he’s hanging out with friends and family or throwing down some smooth tricks on a fingerboard.

Nick’s fingerboarding journey started when he was just two years old, thanks to his dad introducing him to the tiny yet mighty world of fingerboarding. But it wasn’t until 2020 that he decided to take it seriously. Determined to bring his vision to life, he launched **Nice Fingerboards** after months of testing different shapes and molds. By September 2024, **NiceFingerboards.com** was officially open for business!

At first, sales trickled in slowly, but soon the buzz picked up, and now Nice Fingerboards can be found all over the U.S., Canada, Switzerland, and Germany. With the help of legend **Dave England**, a Nice Fingerboard even made its way to the Philippines! Through trades and sponsor events, his boards have also reached Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Nick is proudly sponsored by:

- Unity Ride Shop – Trucks & Grip (Code: Nick10 for 10% OFF @unityrideshop_fb)

- Wysocki Wheels – Wheels (@wysocki_wheels)

Both companies reached out after following his journey and recognizing his talent—proof that passion and dedication pay off!

One of Nick’s favorite moments? Attending FingerboardCon and having a kid ask for a picture and an autograph. That’s when he knew he was truly making an impact.

A huge thank-you goes to his mom, dad, brother, and sister, as well as his best friends @lil_izey_official and @effbee_tip, who always keep the fun alive. Shoutout to Dave Kennedy (@Slot_car_news) for capturing awesome shots of him in the local newspaper.

A special mention goes to Billy Buck (@ratttbatttcattt), the owner of @rathole.fb, who is fighting cancer and, unfortunately, can’t make it to FingerboardCon. Nick sends all his best wishes for a speedy recovery. And lastly, Rest in Peace, Alex (@alexaustinfb) — you are deeply missed.

Rob Gnarly: Riffs, Rails, and Radical Moves

Straight outta Philadelphia, Rob Gnarly holds down the low end in Breathe In, a five-piece metalcore/power metal wrecking crew with roots stretching from New Jersey to New York to Pennsylvania. Born from the raw energy of the North Jersey and NYC music scene, Breathe In isn’t just about playing songs—it’s about delivering a high-voltage experience that ignites every stage they touch.

But Rob’s world isn’t just about breakdowns and blast beats. When he’s not throwing down with Breathe In, he’s deep in the pocket of another passion—fingerboarding. Yeah, the same tiny skateboards that ruled middle school desks are now fueling a full-blown underground movement, and Rob is right in the thick of it.

It all started by chance—a rainy day in Philly, a routine stop at Zembo Temple of Skate and Design, and suddenly, Rob stumbled into a full-on fingerboard contest. The scene was alive, buzzing with the same DIY ethos that fueled punk and hardcore. Skaters weren’t just riding; they were building—handmade boards, custom wheels, handcrafted obstacles. It was pure, unfiltered passion, and Rob was all in.

Then came the moment where his two worlds collided. Late 2024, Breathe In was setting up for their Brooklyn debut, opening for Japan’s metalcore/ visual kei juggernauts, Jiluka. The language barrier loomed large—until Rob’s drummer handed him an old Zoo York Tech Deck. One impromptu fingerboard session later, Jiluka’s frontman was grinning ear to ear, their entire band locked in, watching, cheering for that elusive kickflip. He didn’t land it—but the connection was made. No words needed.

Band O.T.M.

Fast forward to 2025, and Rob’s still pushing both passions forward. Breathe In just dropped Fallujah, the first of several new singles set to hit this year. Meanwhile, he’s got another project brewing—an underground, DIY fingerboard street park somewhere in Philly. The location? Undisclosed. The mission? Pure, unfiltered creativity. Stay tuned. Rob Gnarly is just getting started. ------ Insta: robgnarlyofficial
