Project Description & Goals Comprehensive remodel of 17k sf previously occupied by the Police and Fire Departments combined. The updated facility will serve as the new expanded Fire Department HQ for the City. The western half of the building is the City Library, which will remain operational during construction. • Project Size and/or Unit Mix: 17,290 sf remodel + HVAC upgrade • Project Type: Public • Tenant: City of Pleasant Hill Fire Department

Executive Summary – Key Highlights SINCE LAST REPORT • • • • • • • •
The apparatus bay added trench drain has been installed and the new slab has been placed. The installation of the casework is nearly complete with the exception of the counter tops. The installation of the interior doors has commenced. Lighting circuitry is nearly complete. Door security low voltage work is nearing completion and wiring of the security panel has transpired. Paving is being placed at the SE façade. Installation of the shower fixtures has commenced. The stair pans at the steel stairs to the mezzanine have been placed.
UPCOMING EVENTS/MILESTONES • • • • • • • •
The exterior trench drain at the SE façade in front of the apparatus bay doors will be formed and placed. The installation of the interior flooring, LVT and carpet tile, will begin. Doors and door hardware installation will be nearing completion in early August. The bike racks will be installed. The removal of the existing boilers in the library mechanical room will commence on Monday, August 2. The installation of the countertops will transpire. Exterior paving will be nearing completion. The remaining apparatus bay lights will be installed after their has been appropriate cure time on the new apparatus bay slab.
