College Fees 2026

SCHEDULE OF FEES 2026 The College Council will set the 2027 fees in Term 4, 2026. Please note that the College reserves the right to amend its fee schedule and terms of enrolment at any time.

Domestic Tuition and Resource Fees take into account the state and federal government funding received for each domestic student. These fees are charged on a termly basis. All fees listed below are in AUD and include GST where applicable.

Full Fee Paying Overseas Students (FFPOS) pay a higher scale of fees incorporating but not limited to Commonwealth and State Per Capita Grant equivalents, which in 2026 is $6,240. FFPOS Student fees are billed and payable annually, in advance.

Please note: the annual Resource Fee for overseas students is as listed in the table for Domestic Tuition Fees. The Resource Fee is in addition to the Overseas Tuition Fee.

The non-refundable Application Fee is charged for each application for enrolment. This covers the administration cost associated with enrolment.

The non-refundable Enrolment Fee is payable on the acceptance of an Offer of Confirmed Enrolment.

Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 Enrolment Fees include a $200 Ex-Students’ Union Membership Fee. The Application Fee and Enrolment Fee are non-refundable and not credited towards Fees.

Any voluntary donations in support of the PLC Sydney Building Fund and Scholarship Fund are gratefully received. These donations are tax-deductible and used to fund the ongoing improvements to our future and existing capital programs. Receipts are provided after the end of the financial year.

RESOURCE FEES

For Year 12, boarding places are offered on the understanding that the fee is an annual one, and there is a commitment to pay for the whole year. To withdraw a student from the Boarding House, a term’s notice in writing or one term’s fees in lieu is required. If a boarding student wishes to apply to become a day student or vice versa, a Change of Status Form must be submitted to the Principal.

The Resource Fee is an annual charge, billed termly, and is designed to cover the cost of a wide array of resources and activities without the need for multiple charges to Parent Accounts. It encompasses ‘whole school’ resources such as: •

Library and online resources

•

Software licenses and technological resources (including hardware, wifi networks, and software)

•

Copyright fees

•

General educational resources for faculties

•

Supplies for resource-rich and practical works (with major works being capped)

•

All compulsory incursions, excursions, and local overnight camps

•

Pastoral care programs

•

Specific lectures, seminars, and events

•

Junior School stationery

CAMBRIDGE IGCSE AND A-LEVELS AT PLC SYDNEY Students who choose to study IGCSE courses and/or A-Level courses are charged for each subject they sit. This is in addition to school fees. All exams are charged separately (Years 9-12).

EXTENSION OF FEE PAYMENTS PLC Sydney has partnered with Edstart to provide flexible payment options for school fees, including the option to reduce your annual payments by spreading them over a longer period.

Applications can be made at https://edstart.com.au/plcsydney.

Camps are a compulsory activity booked for all students and paid for by the College in advance. There will be no refunds, under any circumstances, for students who do not attend camp.

The Resource Fee is not partly refundable should a student withdraw through an academic year, nor are any charges relating to compulsory programs, should a student not attend. Families receiving sibling rebates will not receive remission on these charges.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES Items which are charged separately include:

WITHDRAWAL OR TRANSFER OF STUDENT The withdrawal of a student requires at least one full school term’s notice in writing to the Principal; otherwise, one term of the annual tuition fee in lieu of notice will be payable. This amount is a genuine pre-estimate by the College of the loss that it would suffer because we have not been given the required notice.

For example, to withdraw a day student at the end of Term 4, notify the Principal in writing by the last day of Term 3.

Families who encounter difficulties in paying fees, on account of unexpected hardship, are invited to discuss the matter with the Principal or Head of Business Operations and Administration as soon as possible.

YEAR 12 BILLING For Year 12 students, the annual Tuition Fee (and Boarding Fee, if applicable) will be invoiced in three equal instalments, payable prior to the start of Terms 1, 2, and 3 only. Separate invoices will continue to be issued in October and December for any ancillary items incurred up to that date.

BOARDING FEES Boarding fees are in addition to all other fees and are inclusive of GST (food only).

The signatories of the Enrolment Application Form are jointly and severally liable for payment of accounts. Each signatory is equally responsible for the total fees owing; the College will not agree to individual payment arrangements, such as one party paying only half.

If both parents signed the Acceptance Form, neither can be removed from the contract without written consent from the College and the other parent.

A Late Payment Administration Fee is charged at 0.5% on the outstanding balance for each month an invoice is overdue.

This amount reflects the administrative and financial costs of collecting outstanding amounts.

Students with outstanding fees cannot participate in noncompulsory events (e.g., tours) or optional extra-curricular activities (e.g., overseas tours, exchanges, music tuition). The College reserves the right to deny the student’s return and may discontinue enrolment if fees remain unpaid unless satisfactory written arrangements for direct debit payment are made with the Head of Business Operations and Administration.

Continued non-payment results in a final demand, potential exclusion from school return until fees are paid, and the use of external debt collectors, with costs billed to your account.
