Green Island is a migrant community with over 500 inhabitants located next to a dump side in Mae Sot. The majority of the community work as low-wage workers in the recycling plant, agricultural sector,factoriesorotherlow-paiddayjobs.

Throughout the pandemic PlayOnside has been organizing different activities in order to provide education and emotional support to the community. The Emotional Resilience Program together with Arts classes, Movie night, and Football training took place every week. The activities not only provide education to the little ones but also help to develop the relationships within the community members.
