Jump Back Together is a fundraising event hosted by Playhouse Square’s official young professionals group, Partners.

Proceeds from this event help Playhouse Square continue to provide arts education programs, especially for those who otherwise may not have access to the arts. Even while we cannot be together in person, Playhouse Square is offering streaming performances, workshops and resources for educators and families.

Entertainment provided by: Max Chernin On Broadway, Max has appeared in Sunday In The Park With George and Bright Star. Off-Broadway he has appeared in Brooklynite at the Vineyard Theater. Other credits include Bright Star (Old Globe) and World Famous (TNC). Cleveland connection: Max grew up in Shaker Heights.

Warren Egypt Franklin Warren recently made his National Tour debut playing the role of “Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson” in Hamilton. Cleveland tie: Warren grew up in Cleveland and then attended Baldwin Wallace University. He has performed at Beck Center, Cain Park and Playhouse Square.

Keri René Fuller On Broadway, Keri has appeared in Waitress and, most recently, Jagged Little Pill. She originated the role of “Grizabella” in the most recent National Tour of Cats. Cleveland tie: Keri attended Baldwin Wallace University and appeared as “Esmarelda” in the Great Lakes Theater production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Corey Mach Corey has appeared in Kinky Boots, Hands on a Hardbody and Godspell on Broadway, and in the National Tours of Wicked, Flashdance the Musical and Rent. Off Broadway he has appeared in Invisible Thread (Second Stage) and Chix 6 (LaMama). Other credits include Sara Bareilles’ Waitress. Corey is also the creator of Broadway Sings PARTY! Cleveland tie: Corey grew up in Strongsville and is a Baldwin Wallace University alum. He has also appeared in the Great Lakes Theater production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame as “Quasimodo.”

Dee Roscioli Dee is best known for her record-breaking portrayal of “Elphaba” in the smash Broadway hit Wicked.

Most recently, she was seen on Broadway in The Cher Show as the standby for “Cher.” She was also seen on Broadway in Fiddler On The Roof and in the National Tour of Cats. Cleveland connection: On May 2, 2014, Dee appeared at Playhouse Square’s “Dazzle the District” event, with her rendition of “Defying Gravity” serving as the cue to light the GE Chandelier.

Nyla Watson Nyla has appeared in the “PBS Live at Lincoln Center” production of Show Boat, Gigantic the Musical (OffBroadway), as well as the touring companies of Wicked and The Color Purple. Her NYU credits include “Madam Rose” in Gypsy and “Reno Sweeney” in the concert version of Anything Goes with the Broadway Orchestra Ensemble. Cleveland connection: Nyla grew up in Cleveland and attended Baldwin Wallace University.

Everyone who purchases a raffle ticket will have a chance to win one of two raffle baskets. Both baskets are valued at more than $600 and include gift cards to local establishments, including Cleveland Independents, Hospitality Restaurants, and Heinen’s.

Partners Founding Members

We extend a special thank you to the Partners founding members – Jeff Cristal, Larry Hatch, John Marcus, Peter Rubin, Sara Stashower, Kurt Weaver, Neil Weinberger, Mark Weisman, and Theo Wolf – for their forward thinking, leadership, and dedication to Playhouse Square.

In the late 1980s, the original nine Partners were recruited by Larry Wilker, president of Playhouse Square at the time, to “create the future.” After two years of research and planning, Playhouse Square Partners was created and in 1992 the first annual Jump Back Ball was celebrated on Leap Day in the KeyBank State Theatre.

In 2016, these nine founding Partners were awarded the Playhouse Square President’s Award (now named the Falco Award), which recognizes members of the northeast Ohio community whose leadership, perseverance and dedication have contributed to the success of Playhouse Square. And because of their vision (and irreverent love of jello shots), Partners has remained one of the longest-running young professionals organizations in Cleveland. More than 2,500 members have raised over $4.7 million for Playhouse Square over the past 30 years.
