TABLE OF CONTENTS With school back in session, that signals a well-deserved break from the extra hot summer we had. This also means that Temple Parks and Recreation is working hard to prepare for fall sports, special events, and other recreational opportunities. Other exciting news we would like to share is that we will be moving forward with a four-year capital improvement plan. This will help us update some of our older facilities, playgrounds, and pavilions as well as building additional hike and bike trails. In addition, a major component of this plan is to construct a new community park on the southwest side of town. In order to stay up to date on the latest news, information, and all the FUN happenings during the fall and winter seasons, be sure to connect with us online at templeparks.com, on Facebook @templeparksandrec and Instagram @cityoftempleparks. You may also reach out to us at 254.298.5690, and we will be happy to assist you.
