Camp Heatwave Camp Heatwave is an adventure based camp that provides campers with an unforgettable experience, while making new friends along the way. Camp Heatwave has been Temple’s #1 summer camp for the past 14 years. Activities will include archery, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, climbing walls, a variety of field trips and much more! PS TECH CAM Make Your First 3D Video Game Try this new version of a Black Rocket classic! This tech camp allows campers to develop a game concept that goes well beyond the limitation of the traditional 2D game design and create an immersive 3D world. Students will learn the physics behind 3D games, explore beginner event scripting, level design, controlling flow of gameplay, and story telling. Student created games will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

Junior Lifeguard Don’t sit on the couch all summer, head to the pool and learn what it’s like to be a lifeguard! This class is designed to educate students about prevention, victim recognition, basic rescue techniques, first aid, and other pool procedures. Junior Lifeguards will receive the opportunity to shadow a real lifeguard this summer.
