Trials of Apollo Original Story by Violet Holtz This is a short piece based on Trials of Apollo that takes place when Apollo becomes a god again. This may not be accurate, but it is what I want to happen, and it includes multiple references.

A golden light engulfed me, and I was slowly pulled away from Meg. I rose up to the heavens, and was deposited at Zeus's feet. He looked down at me disapprovingly. “Apollo,” he boomed, “You know why I did this.” I remembered Meg’s devastated expression when I had left. I saw everything that happened to us, and how she had leaped into Tarquin's tomb to save me. "Yes," I said, " and I hope you understand why I am doing this.” I jumped off the cloud and plummeted back to earth. For a split second, I was back in time. Falling to earth for the first time, landing in that dumpster. Cade and Mikey beating me up. Then I was back in the present, but still falling. I landed spread eagle on solid asphalt. I forced my sore body to stand, and took in my surroundings. I was in an alley, but it seemed more welcoming than before. I began to walk aimlessly, looking for a sign of Meg. I met her in an alley before, so maybe I could find her in this one. This one though, was brighter, and ( thank the gods ) there was no dumpster. I don't know how long I looked for Meg. It might have been hours, or days, or even weeks. All I know is that I didn't find her for a while. Finally I wandered into another alley. On closer inspection, it was the alley I had fallen into that fateful day. Yes, there was the dumpster, and there was the balcony where I first saw Meg. I could even see her now, looking down on me like she did before. I blinked, and the image……..stayed? "Meg!" I shouted, running towards her. She jumped off the balcony, and met my hug. We embraced for a second before she hastily pulled away. " Where were you!" She exclaimed, trying not to cry. "Zeus called me up," I replied, " but I wasn't ready to leave." She looked at me. " You're obviously not ready to be a god. Your still as stupid as the day I met you." I sighed. This was definitely Meg. Leave it to her to ruin a moment. " Besides," I said. "We still have work to do."
