lia Yachts has announced the sale of a new 60m Vripack design to the expert owner of a string of previous vessels.
This time, however, he wanted an Ice Class to explore the world with his family, asking for a high performance, go-anywhere craft with the accommodation, provisioning and refuelling capabilities for long stays aboard. “Coming hard on the heels of Al Waab, we are thrilled to once again collaborate with the same team on another innovative, inspiring new build,” says Gökhan Çelik, President of Alia Yachts. Unusually, the large galley and crew mess/saloon are forward on the main deck together with a technical room with access to the side-loading tender garage. However, the lower deck boasts a magnificent beach club with a massage room, dive store, gym, relaxation area and steam shower. As aboard Al Waab, semi-transparent side panels create a wind-protected area that blurs the boundaries with the water. There are two guest twins and four double VIP staterooms on the lower deck.
