I
f you ask Foresti & Suardi to identify the key factors behind their success, they will have some very clear ideas on the subject – quality and service, where quality means the highest possible level of corrosion resistance for all the products from this established company,
which recently celebrated its 60th anniversary. It was founded in 1961 in Predore, on the shores of Lake Iseo, and since then it has widened its original accessories catalogue to include illumination and furnishing objects. This has gone hand in hand with a greater range of materials, from the classic brass to aluminium and stainless steel, with the creation of the Alluminox division in 2019, responding to the full extent of market demand, from windshields for open yachts to superyacht doors and staircases. “Everything is made to measure on the basis of the yard’s specific demands”, says Luciano Paissoni, the company’s CEO. “We have modern equipment and specialist operators, and now we dedicate ourselves not only to industrial production but also to producing small numbers of pieces, with the attention to detail more and clients are looking for to help them develop a distinctive presence on the

market. Together we develop products with the shape or finish best suited to their yachts”. And this desire to move in the direction of increasing refinement has led to the foundation of Foresti & Suardi Design, with exclusive outdoor furnishing complement lines created by designer Christian Grande in collaboration with the company’s technical office, which is driven by a constant search for technological innovation. The Iseo director’s chairs are a part of this, embellished by elegant Maria Flora fabrics, with a sun lounger version under development, and the Sorgente stainless steel shower stand. The chrome plated brass Flatwash deck shower system has obtained prestigious accolades in the design field - in 2020 it was nominated at the Dame design wards in Amsterdam and in 2021 was selected by the Adi Design index 2021, which every year identifies the best Italian design entering production. The Foresti & Suardi Lighting division offers an exceptional range of brass wall or ceiling lamps, LED profiles and table lamps like the Piacentini from an idea by Christian Grande, coordinating brass and marble. “We collaborate with all the yards” says Paissoni, “And 50% of our production goes abroad, where clients value our quality, the durability of our products, which is always a priority for us, as well as service”. Finally, since 2019 the company has been certified as 100% Made in Italy, with a production developed and made entirely in Italy, manufactured using high-quality natural materials and traditional methods. www.forestiesuardi.it 153
