Platform offers a wide range of weekly workshops and classes, with something for all ages. These are welcoming, artist led and no experience is needed.

Sessions are offered on a Pay-What-You-Like basis allowing you to choose what to pay. Places must be booked in advance - book online, in person or phone.

Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays | from 4.30pm

Weekly music group and band style sessions open to adults and children from 8yrs+. All levels of experience welcome. Fiddle, guitar and drum tuition available.

Platform Singers

Fridays | 2.30-4pm

A weekly choral singing session that is friendly, fun and a great way to meet new people.

Saturdays | 11.15am-12.15pm

Creative activities for early years, each week is different - join us for music, dance, theatre, arts and crafts for babies, toddlers and their adults. Healthy drinks and snacks provided.

Weekly drama workshops for children and young people interested in performance, fun and creativity.

Thursday Night Drama

Thursdays | 6pm-8pm

Fun and informal weekly workshops for adults interested in performance projects.

Mondays | 11am-1pm

Join this friendly group for a chat and cuppa whilst knitting, sewing or crocheting. Beginners welcome.

Art Factory

Tuesdays

1pm-2.30pm & 2.45pm-4pm

A relaxed space for adults to get creative and inspired with a range of activities exploring different themes and materials.

Nu Gen

Tuesdays | 5pm-6.30pm

Art sessions for young people who enjoy drawing, painting, design and sculpture. A chance to experiment with materials and learn new skills.

Saturday Art Club

11am-12pm & 1pm-2pm

Art class for children offering a chance to be playful with materials and to create artworks to take home.

Take part in activities, shop at stalls and enjoy free refreshments. There will be crafts, repairs, clothing, gardening and toys - activities vary each month.

FAMILY FRIENDLY SUMMER FESTIVALS

Family friendly festivals return for summer 2025 - head to Alexandra Park Festival Day on Saturday 19 July and The Bridge Family Festival on Saturday 26 July. Running 12pm-4pm each day, both are packed full of activities, stalls and entertainment - entry is free. Keep an eye on our social media for more details!
