OUTSKIRTS 2018 Outskirts is a daylong festival that takes place in spaces across the venue – your ticket and wristband provide you with access to all events.

Events in the Auditorium can accommodate every ticket holder.

Events in the Studio Theatre, Assembly and Swimming Pool have limited capacities and so please arrive promptly for these performances to avoid disappointment.

Food will be served by the CafĂŠ Bar all day and from 5pm from Soul Food Sisters.

3.30PM – LATE

ANALOGUE THE DEN Sound installation created by Laurie Brown ART SCRUBBER VARIOUS LOCATIONS Kate Clayton adopts the persona of Art Scrubber when she wants to pay tribute to a particular artist's work or to a particular audience.

HOME WHERE HOME IS NOT RECORDING STUDIO New immersive installation pieces created by Birthe Jorgenson & Sogol Mabadi using performance, carving, photography, video and audio work.

UNDERWATER RIOT LIBRARY Maria and Henri lead Underwater Riot, an offering of making and creative workshops for all ages.

UNLIKELY DUETS STUDIO THEATRE A dance theatre work in progress by Sarah Hopfinger

This performance event has a limited capacity and no latecomers will be admitted 4PM – 5PM

JAMES KELMAN, TOM LEONARD AND JOEY SIMONS AUDITORIUM A conversation led by Joey, our Social Historian in Residence at Platform, about his research into poet and playwright Freddy Anderson who was based in Easterhouse for over thirty years. James and Tom will also be reading extracts of their own work.

PERSONAL STRUCTURES STUDIOS New exhibition from artist Jessica Ramm, informed by and responding to Platform’s setting, presented as part of Glasgow International 2018

OLIVER PITT + BARRY BURNS AUDITORIUM Easterhouse Conversation - A new collaboration between Oliver Pitt and Barry Burns Using material recorded within Platform and based around a series of interviews with Easterhouse residents, the pair will create a sound portrait combining sounds of the building with the stories of those who use it.

7.45PM – 8.45PM

TURNTABLE ASSEMBLY

By Michael John McCarthy and Martin O’Connor Join Michael John McCarthy as he plays some records; celebrating memory, identity, family and the joy of music.
