We have the in-house capability to take a concept and rapidly turn it into a reality. With our progressive and innovative approach to continually improving our product with direct user feedback our customer centricity is the cornerstone of our success.

Our design team is highly trained and possesses industrial design capability allowing us to animate, pattern, sample and trial-manage an extremely broad bandwidth of products.

Every product we design is driven by a specific customer need and with a “solution based” approach; we challenge our customers on every detail they are able to share. Such details include application, area of operations and equipment’s with which our product needs to work with.

We know from years of experience that the more we understand, the more we can assist.

Although our design team is geared to develop new concepts in-house, they are also skilled in conducting test and evaluation of leading technologies that are commercially available.

Rather than utilise resources to “reinvent the wheel” we prefer to partner with other leaders in the pursuit for delivering on requirements specified by our customers.

We have a specific sub-contractor assessment process which is used to aid us in the decision to partner with an organisation and this process assesses many aspects of the prospective partner including product integrity, company track record, and their approach to quality and back-up support.

On average, we complete two to five new designs (specific to a customer need), each week on top of developing new product for our retail range under the name of PLATATAC

JUNGLE UNIFORM

The PLATATAC Jungle Uniform takes old school inspiration, and incorporates it with a modern, innovative and cutting edge fabric to bring you the lightest and most functional jungle/hot weather operations uniform ever.

Made from the aptly named “Apocalypse” fabric, this 100% nylon rip-stop fabric is lightweight, durable, quick-drying and breathable, with excellent moisture management delivering maximum comfort in hot/temperate climates.

The overall design of the uniform was intended to reduce layers and seams, with anti-microbial poly mesh in the bottom of all pockets and mesh venting areas in the uniform for water drainage, faster dry times and to mitigate heat stress when active or static.

So whether you call it the Jungle, the J, the Trees, the Bush or Close Country, this is the uniform you need for when you have to travel up a river to dispatch a rogue colonel.

UNIFORM (MALOU)

The MALOU is a highly versatile, lightweight uniform that can be worn from insertion, the swim in, over the beach and onto the target.

Based on PLATATAC’s tried and proven Tac Dax and CUT Shirt designs, The MALO Uniform has been enhanced with features and fabrics tailored for amphibious operations.

Tweave 520E Durastretch® and Polartec Power Dry® fabrics have been utilised to make a lightweight, highly breathable, wind and abrasion-resistant uniform that will dry quickly to minimise chafing.

MALOU TACTICAL SHIRT

Based on PLATATAC’s CUT Shirt design, the MALOU Tactical Shirt has been tailored for amphibious operations.

The MALOU shirt is made from Tweave 520E Durastretch®, which is a 4-way stretch, 100% nylon fabric, featuring a DWR treatment to block and shed water, allowing it to be submerged entirely. The body of the MALOU shirt is made from Polartec Power Dry® which provides superior comfort, breathability & moisture management. Both of these fabrics combined make a lightweight, highly breathable, wind and abrasionresistant uniform that will dry quickly to minimise chafing.

The collar of the shirt is also lined with Polartec Power Dry, for added comfort when wet. All pockets have zip closures for ease of use when submerged or with gloved hands, strategically placed mesh and button holes allow water to pass freely through the garment, to reduce drag when swimming or rapidly drain water when coming ashore or boarding a vessel.

Zip pockets on the upper arms allow for ready access of admin, or small essential items when wearing LCE or body armour, and also feature loop fields for ID & IFF patches. The sleeves are cut loose for ease of movement and can be quickly rolled up for ventilation.

HARRY HARD JACKET

The PLATATAC Harry Hard 1.2 is the latest rendition in our family of mid-weight soft-shell jackets that combines utility and clean-lined style into a tailored and highly versatile garment to give you a feature packed jacket which will keep you comfortable at work or doubles as a smart looking option for outside work hours. The bonded fleece with a polyester/spandex shell allows unrestricted movement, protects you from the elements and is also breathable, wind and water repellent, and with an FR coating, it not only provides warmth but will protect you from flash flame.

It is designed to be worn as a standalone soft-shell as part of a uniform for those who are involved in law enforcement, security and emergency services. Upper arm pockets feature external velcro to easily attach unit, agency or department insignia patches. The Harry 1.2 can also be used as a component of an integrated layering system for outdoor activities.

A removable adjustable hood provides additional protection from the elements, without obstructing peripheral vision and provides the ability to scale your look whether it is in the field or in the office. HARRIET HARD JACKET

The Harriet Hard Jacket is our latest addition to our family of mid-weight soft shell jackets. After years of requests, we have designed a jacket from the ground up for women, with direct end-user input from women. This is not just a smaller sized ‘unisex’ jacket. This has been built to suit the female form and meet the requirements of a modern female uniformed professional. With a new, slim, modern, feminine-cut, the Harriet is a highly versatile, feature rich jacket. The bonded fleece with a polyester/spandex shell allows unrestricted movement. It breathes, it’s durable and it protects you from the elements thanks to it’s wind and water resistance.

As with our standard Harry jackets, we have maintained the versatility and practicality of our best selling jacket. OPFOR 42 PATTERN SMOCK

Arguably one of the coolest smocks ever made. The WW2 1942 Pattern Smock, Windproof was used extensively by British troops – SAS included – right up to the First Gulf War.

The PLATATAC SR mesh hood and shoulders is a lightweight, packable scaleddown ghillie suit hood that covers the head, shoulders and upper part of the torso to break up the wearer’s shape aiding in visual-based camouflage/concealment and remaining under the detection threshold.

The hood has bungee cord drawstrings to customize the size of the hood, sleeves and back along with adjustable chest tension buckle/strap to keep the hood securely attached to yourself. It is completely breathable and retains very little moisture when wet. This Hood is large enough to be worn over most combat helmets without interfering with ancillaries.

BUG MESH TETRIS HIDE

The PLATATAC Mesh Tetris Hide/OP Square is a lightweight, packable mesh screen to aid in visual-based camouflage/concealment areas. The PLATATAC Team Wendy Exfil Helmet Cover has been designed and individually sized to securely fit the Team Wendy Exfil ballistic helmets. The use of Tweave 520E at the sides ensures a snug fit that remains in place during MFF or maritime ops. The cover is perfect for changing your helmet’s pattern and profile, protecting its finish, and dampening noise during impact.

The cover features adjustable elastic shock cord running central to secure various OEM strobe/ signal light products including Adventure Lights and S&S, or standard cyalume sticks. Infrared Reflective (IR) patches are clearly visible through NVGs and other night vision devices using infrared light. They are hook-backed for easy attachment and will not move when in place. These patches are primarily used for IFF (Identification, friend or foe) or as a TRF (Tactical Recognition Flash).

The CRABS V2 system works seamlessly together with the ammo/EO & admin inserts suite, which offers nearly endless configurations, allowing multiple setups depending on mission requirements.

The CRABS V2 Base Panel placard is the bones of the system. It features internal soft loop Velcro to insert 5.56mm x 3, 7.62 x 2 w/pistol or 9mm x 4 elastic magazine inserts. The front features loop Velcro to attach the optional Pocket Panels allowing you to tier up or down, and stow mission essential items where you want them based on your individual requirements or small unit SOPs.

Its small profile is perfect for CQB, MFF and other insertion methods/roles but allows the user to rapidly scale up to suit the mission. Using an industry-standard buckle system, the CRABS V2 System can be utilised as a placard attached to most armour carrier systems, simply remove the side clips and secure to the plate carrier via the hook velcro.

If being worn as a standalone chest rig, it can be combined with one of our CHICOM harness and back strap options. The Velcro sandwich at the rear allows seamless integration for our range of ASAD velcro-in sub load pouches to boost carrying capacity if required.

PANELCRABS V2 BASE PANEL

The CRABS V2 Base panel interfaces with all of the CRABS Front Pockets to scale up or down. The internal loop velcro allows multiple ammunition carriage options via Velcro in magazine inserts to carry up to 3 x M4 (or 3 x AK bullets up), 2 x 7.62 mags w/single pistol mag or 4 x 9mm sub gun.

The Velcro loop on the front facilitates the attachment of any of CRABS V2 Front Pockets to scale the system up or down. Additional webbing on the sides allows smaller single column MOLLE pouches to be attached.

The included ITW clips allows the base panel to interface with various armour carrier platforms or our range of CHICOM harnesses. It also features adjustable top tabs for the perfect ride height.

The rifle and pistol magazine pockets can be used with or without Kydex inserts. One GP pocket has velcro closure and the other features a zip.

The MOLLE version offers the user a multitude of ways to create the perfect system. From the top, there is a zippered admin pocket large enough to fit essential admin items. On top of this pocket is a field of MOLLE, the top 80mm are faced with colour matched Velcro for any identification, unit, flag or IFF patches. This molle field is perfect to attach any administration pocket you like if you require extra space or for mounting an End User Device. Two vertically oriented MOLLE rows on the sides are for mounting the included QASM buckles or G-Hooks. The front placard contains a velcro-lined kangaroo pocket. This is perfect for expanding admin storage with an ASAD Zippered Pocket insert, or by increasing load carriage with an ASAD elastic Rifle Mag insert. In front of the kangaroo pocket is another PALS field made from colour matched velcro, enabling the operator to run a range of mag placards or pouches.

The rear of the SMAC offers the same level of customisation as the front. A velcrosecured drag handle at the top is designed to be easily deployed without causing any snagging issues. A large PALS field allows the mounting of a number of hydration or assault packs. Colour matched velcro on the top portion of this PALS field is perfect for ID, unit, flag or IFF patches.

An internal pocket for MOE tools and devices is hidden behind the field. Inside are 2 rows of molle for the mounting of any specialty pouches. At the top, there is a small Velcro strap perfect for securing Bolt Cutters. A pocket at the base of the SMAC is designed to hold larger MOE tools. When not in use it is easily tucked back inside.

The SMAC is lined with air mesh which helps to evenly regulate body heat. Internally the plates are secured in place with an adjustable velcro strap, as well as having a velcro flap along the entire base.

SMAC 3 – MOLLE

SMAC 3 – SLICK

The SMAC 3 is the latest iteration in PLATATAC ’s best known plate carrier series, originally designed and manufactured in response to a SOCOMD requirement. The SMAC 3 introduces a modular approach to the SMAC system, utilising adaptability and flexibility as a cornerstone to the system.

The MOLLE Mesh Cummerbund is a scalable solution to address the ever growing need for the modern soldier or LEO to increase their load and mission specific items. The cummerbund is attached to the SMAC 3 or other plate carriers via velcro. The cummerbund is made from Nylon mesh, which aids in breathability and lessens the weight. With three rows of MOLLE on both the interior and exterior of the cummerbund, the operator is able to attach additional side plating as well as any additional items such as radios, med kits etc.

SLIP ON SHOULDER PADS

The Elastic Mag Cummerbund is a low profile, stretchy cummerbund with comfort in mind. The cummerbund is attached to the SMAC 3 or other plate carriers via velcro. The stretchy nature of this cummerbund allows for ease of breathing, even when the cummerbund is secured tightly. Made from multiple layers of colour matched velcro, the cummerbund features three double mag cells, made to fit 1x m4 mag and 1x 9mm pistol mag, as well as a range of accessories including small radios, tourniquets, small first aid blow out kits, spools of shock tube, M81 blast fuse devices etc.

WRAP AROUND SHOULDER PADS

The Slip On Shoulder Pads have been designed to be the lowest possible profile whilst still offering a small amount of padding for comfort. Made from Tweave 520E 4-way stretch, these low profile shoulder pads also allows the routing of hydration tubes, radio wiring & body worn antennas.

The Wrap Around Shoulder Pads are a user friendly shoulder pad with comfort and functionality in mind. Featuring an air mesh base, the pads easily regulates heat and increases comfort. A wrap around design is perfect for the management of cables and hydration tubes.

The PLATATAC SMAC 3 Front Flap Mag Placard has been designed to carry a maximum of six M4 style magazines on the front of the SMAC 3 or other similar plate carriers. The main three magazine pouches feature Kydex inserts to securely hold the magazine with adjustable shock cord to offer added security. A layer of colour matched elastic creates a second row of magazine pouches. The elastic makes it adaptable for a variety of items in addition to magazines. The shock cords can be adjusted for either row of magazines, or removed completely.

ASAD ZIPPERED ADMIN INSERT

The ASAD Elastic Rifle Insert is a simple Velcro insert for a kangaroo pocket to extend the carrying capacity of a SMAC 3 or similar load carriage system. The insert’s elastic construction ensures a snug fit as well as allowing for a quiet draw. The magazine ride height can be adjusted by a simple Velcro wrap at the base.

The ASAD Zippered Admin Insert is designed to fit in the kangaroo pocket of the SMAC 3 or other similar load carriage systems. It is a lightweight addition perfect for carrying essential admin items close at hand.

INTEGRATED LIGHT ARMOUR VEST (ILAV)

The Integrated Light Armour Vest (ILAV) was developed in response to the specification set out by the largest Law Enforcement Agency in Australia and one of the largest in the English-speaking world. Due to the large geographical area of operations covering multiple different climate zones, Platypus Outdoors Group have developed a solution suite which is aimed to enable members to comfortably conduct their job in a wide range of operational conditions. Particular emphasis was placed on thermal regulation, comfort and weight reduction at the design phase. The ILBV Vest was developed in response to a specification from a Law Enforcement Agency in Australia.

A modular system was developed to be flexible enough to be worn in subtropical regions, whilst retaining light armour protection. A system of loop fields and clips were utilised to make the transition from a lightweight tropical vest to one with added rear armour protection a quick and easy process which does not require the operator to take off the vest.

A lightweight Soft Armour Carrier, with a number of integrated comfort and safety enhancements via the use of Fire Retardant, lightweight 500D nylon and technical stretch fabrics which are strategically located throughout each garment, coupled with Phase Change Materials to assist with thermal management.

CHEST

The Peacekeeper MK5 (PK5) is the latest iteration in the PLATATAC family of CHICOM-compatible fixed rigs.

Like its predecessor, it boasts a large carrying capacity, with three double velcro closure magazine pouches central to the rig designed primarily to hold 2 x M4 magazines each. The magazine pouches have adjustable/removable lids to allow larger magazines, such as AK47 mags to be carried or allow easier access to mags by removing the flaps all together. They can also accommodate a pistol, black means (Baofeng) radio or a smoke grenade if required. Bungee retention around the mag pouches provides additional security for stowed items.

A PALS field either side of the mag pouches allows the user to attach additional magazine, grenade, radio, or first aid pouches. Below the magazine pouches is a long zippered pouch for other mission essentials, such as additional first aid items or dems gear. Sewn to the bottom of this pouch are webbing loops to attach either of two elastic inserts (included), one holds SOF or CAT TQ and the other can hold two 4” or 6” cyalume, having either one readily accessible when required.

At the extreme ends of the PK5 are two medium zippered accessory pouches with additional clip closure. These pouches will hold a water bottle such as the

PLATATAC 1 Litre flask or a 1 Litre Nalgene, or utilising the internal open-top mesh pouch with bungee retention, a single ANPRC 152 radio can be carried when utilizing the 19mm clip to close the pouch. A small zippered pocket on the front of each pouch is perfect for smaller items like cam kits, gloves etc. 2 x Rows x 2 Columns of external PALS on either side of each pouch allow you to attach smaller MOLLE compatible pouches such as grenade pouches.

Against the body centrally is an velcro closure mesh pocket. A long zip can be inserted into this pouch to make it zippered admin pocket. Either side of this is a Tweave 4 way stretch pocket that can be used to hold additional mags, radio, a map, notebook, GRG or marker panel.

The Velcro sandwich area between the back mesh and under the pouches has been enlarged, to allow better integration of our ASAD range of velcro in sub load pouches.

Included with the PK5 are two harness options, the standard CHICOM low pro adjustable shoulder straps and the CHICOM LW H-Harness, which provides a lightweight general-purpose alternative to the low pro straps. Both are flat-sewn, and designed to remain as flat as possible for use with packs and other harness systems. A range of other harness options is available to boost carrying capacity.

PEACEKEEPER JW CHEST RIG

The PLATATAC Peacekeeper JW (Jungle Warfare) chest rig is a low profile, light weight general purpose chest rig designed for close country patrols, or hot weather/water operations which can be worn standalone, or in conjunction with over body armour systems.

The PK-JW features dedicated pouches that hold just the right amount of essentials and features a front centre zip for easy doffing and donning. The dual centre mounted magazine pouches, one each side of the zip, will hold two M4 mags each, a single smoke grenade pouch and two vertically mounted frag grenade pouches beside the magazine pouches allow easy access to EO.

At the extreme ends of the PKJW are two medium sized zippered accessory pouches with additional clip closure, these will hold a water bottle such as the PLATATAC 1L flask, 1L Nalgene, or a medium sized radio utilising the internal open-top mesh pouch with bungee retention to hold a 152 or similar sized radio when utilising the 19mm clip to close the pouch. On the sides of each GP pouch are TQ or Strobe pouches that will also hold other similar sized items.

All Mag and EO pouches have velcro and 19mm clip closures for added security, and all pouches feature mesh areas in the bottom to provide rapid drainage. Against the body are two open-top mesh pouches which can hold flat items such as maps, GRGs or marker panels.

It features a large zipper in the middle for easy donning and doffing when wearing cold weather kit, or with armour.

The VM rig has a large carrying capacity, with four double 5.56 magazine pouches. An additional utility/frag grenade pocket is attached to the front of each mag pouch. Each mag pouch has bungee attached which can be tightened for additional security. The flaps on each mag pouch can be tucked away for easier reloads, or to carry 7.62 mags, store a small med kit, a pistol or smoke grenade.

On the extreme ends of the magazine pouches are zippered utility pouches, designed to hold either a 1 litre flask (e.g. PLATATAC 1L flask or 1 Litre Nalgene), or an AN/PRC-152 Multiband Hand-held Radio (an inside mesh pocket with bungee retention securely holds the radio). Each side pouch features a smaller zippered admin pouch on the front for items like head torches, gloves, cam kits etc. and a small PALS field either side to attach MOLLE compatible pouches.

The VM rig also features two large mesh pockets on the rear of rig which allows the user to store flat items like a GRG, maps, marker panels, or similar sized items.

Included with the VM-Rig are two harness options, the standard CHICOM low pro adjustable shoulder straps and the CHICOM LW H-Harness which provides a lightweight general-purpose alternative to the low pro straps. Both harnesses are flat sewn, and are designed to remain as flat as possible for use with packs and other harness systems.

CHICOM MESH RIG

The PLATATAC CHICOM Mesh Rig is a fully modular chest rig featuring up to 12 PALS columns x 3 rows of MOLLE, giving the user a large MOLLE field for various setups depending on the task. Due to the mesh construction, the CHICOM Mesh Rigs are advantageous during littoral and maritime operations, as water will be able to drain straight through the fabric. It also features a full Velcro field in the back which allows it to be mounted to a plate carrier.

A Velcro sandwich within the chest rig, is suitable for the PLATATAC ASAD range of products. The ITW side release buckles are removable, and the top mounted buckles can be adjusted for plate carrier use or moved out slightly to add some clearance when drawing magazines.

The PLATATAC CHICOM MOLLE VM rig is a fully modular chest rig which consists of two 8 PALS column panels providing 16 columns of PALS x 3 rows of MOLLE. SICC BELT MK4

The SICC Belt Mk4 is the newest version of our classic and much-lauded rigger-style operator/shooter belt. It has been updated to include precision “PALS” slots, laser cut from a semi rigid woven thermoplastic called Tegris, to create a lightweight, flexible, yet rigid and stable first line platform to attach a wide range of pouches, holsters and accessories.

A single piece of Mil-spec Type 13 load rated webbing spans the circumference, and connects with a battle-proven Austri-Alpin COBRA Buckle that will exceed the requirements for harness equipment. The belt is load rated to Australian Standard: AS/NZS 1891.1 1995 Industrial Fall Arrest Systems and Devices, Part 1 Safety Belts and Harnesses. Due to the Belt’s high load rating, the SICC Belt includes a lanyard loop so that an operator can tie into helicopters, or lanyard on dog leashes.

The SICC Belt Mk4 introduces a layer of laser-cut thermoplastic Tegris stiffener to its construction, which significantly increases the rigidity in a vertical plane whilst maintaining the ability for the belt to conform horizontally around the body and twist with the body in a lightweight package. This means that heavy items like pistols, magazines, grenades, med pouches, radios etc. are better supported and the belt won’t sag over time like traditional belts.

The SICC Belt Mk4 has an inner facing 25mm strip of “Hook” velcro to attach to the range of SICC inner belt options, to make a multilayer shooters belt system that can be used in several different configurations depending on mission requirements. The “hook” velcro can be covered by a strip of binding so the belt can be used as a standalone belt.

SICC BELT PAD

The SICC Pad is constructed of closed-cell foam with a heavy-duty mesh covering. The outer has full-length 1” (25mm) loop velcro to attach the SICC Belt Mk3. The inside has 1” hook portions to mate with to either the SICC Inner or SICC Low Profile belts. This belt pad adds some additional standoff and comfort, has positive buoyancy and dries quickly.

3S BELT PAD

The PLATATAC 3S belt pad Mk3 is a low profile, versatile and lightweight gunfighter base belt which bridges the gap between a modular rigger’s belt i.e. a SICC belt and a full belt kit setup. The full MOLLE exterior allows the user to move some items from the plate carrier to the hips to access first line essentials. The drop pass throughs allow the user to affix offset holsters or thigh rigs directly from the belt. Internally the belt pad has a plastic stiffener to provide a rigid load carrying base and to retain the belt pad form when fewer pouches are mounted.

The PLATATAC Craighead PRMD Belt Placard is a first line, belt worn, primary and secondary magazine, with integrated dump pouch, all in one placard. It is designed to be a compact, sleek, light weight and simplistic practical system, that gives a consistent magazine draw every time, as you would expect from such a collaboration.

It can carry one 5.56 rifle magazine and two double-stack 9mm.40 cal pistol magazines. The magazines are primarily held in place with a Kydex insert, which gives the pouch active retention, and keeps the top of the pouch open for ease of magazine reinsertion. When a mag is inserted, the Kydex flexes to allow easy travel into the pouch. As the Kydex wants to spring back to its usual state, due to the tension of the pouch it keeps the mag under tension.

The pistol magazine pouches can double as stowage for other items e.g. multitool, torch, ASP cuffs etc. by simply removing the kydex insert. It is designed to fit securely to PLATATAC or other OEM shooters belts up to 44mm wide. This iteration of the PRMD has hook (male) velcro on the inside of the belt loops to mate with loop (female) velcro.

The PRMD includes two secondary retention options in the form of bungee shock cord or ultracomp flaps for added security or to accommodate different sized magazines depending on the end user’s requirements. The laser-cut Ultracomp flaps are adjusted via a hook & loop sandwich system, or can be removed completely. A Griptac tab assists with opening whilst wearing gloves or in wet conditions.

A compact dump pouch is built over the rifle mag pouch to save real estate and it is ideal for spent mags, loose ammo at the range, SSE, a water bottle and the things you actually use a dump pouch for.

The top of the arm board has a “whiteboard” panel behind a fully removable ultracomp cover, which can be marked on with map marking pens, china graph pencils etc. The Whiteboard is perfect for quick tactical diagrams and other comms. The panel is designed to be reused, and can be cleaned easily and used again.

BULLOCK ECHO LARGE

The Bullock Echo Large is the big brother to the PLATATAC Bullock Echo Pack MK 3 and boasts large capacity storage compartments for extended missions and is built for comfort.

The built-in cradle in front comfortably fits a helmet, or can be used as a storage compartment for clothing or other mission critical necessities. The cradle also features Velcro and non-Velcro MOLLE attachment points in front. The front zip pocket includes internal zip mesh and mesh pouches with a pen or small knife/ multi-tool holders and a key holder allowing for the maximum organisation.

MED ECHO MK2

The PLATATAC Med Echo V2 Pack has come about from direct end user feedback and input. It is the culmination of many minds and hours of combat and field time and it’s the latest edition to our ECHO pack range.

The Med Echo Pack has been designed specifically to carry multiple emergency medical items required in a casualty situation, but the platform is flexible enough to be tailored to be used as a small assault/patrol, EMOE or combat sustainment pack.

Externally, the Med Echo Pack has PALS areas on the front and sides to mount MOLLE compatible pouches, a large front pocket with Velcro closure allows you to insert the triple elastic shingle to hold extra mags or the full zip insert to convert it to zip access, both of which come standard with the pack.

Internally, the pack features a Velcro MOLLE field to attach our range of Velcro in/ out organiser pouches to configure the load out to suit the mission. MED ECHO HELMET CRADLE

The Med Echo Cradle integrates quickly & easily to our PLATATAC Med Echo Pack with Free Echo Straps and or even the PLATATAC Echo Hydration Pack Mk II (Standalone Pack) with C-Ring and MOLLE attachments. Simply slide the C-Rings through each connection point on the pack with little hassle.

The large mesh pocket can accommodate a standard helmet or could double as an accessories pouch. The quick release buckles allow for fast removal and the tension straps on each corner allow you to pull the holder tight to keep your helmet secure. Front zip pocket can be used to store smaller mission-critical gear such as maps, compass, medical items etc.. While the Velcro MOLLE section in front could be used to patches or smaller Velcro/MOLLE enable pouches.

The PLATATAC SPUR MSM 12 day pack has a simple, semi overt appearance and lots of versatile organisation. It features two zippered admin pockets on the front panel, two internal mesh zippered pockets and internal sleeves, one open top and one with cinch cord capable or stowing a medium sized laptop, CSI folder, hydration bladder or organisation of smaller items.

The PLATATAC Spur MSM 24 Day Pack is the larger of the two Spur MSM packs and boasts most of the same features as well as a larger carrying capacity. It features two zippered admin pockets on the front panel, two internal mesh zippered pockets. Main difference between the 12 and the 24 is the ability to Velcro in the dedicated MSM panels or pouches (available separately) making it very versatile for various roles.

A vertical zippered access area at the rear allows the storage of a laptop, and the bottom of the pack is padded to protect your gear when setting the pack down.

PLATYPLUS DAY PACK

The PLATATAC Platyplus is a classic minimalist style backpack designed to be stand alone, or utilised with a range of roller bags, to carry your daily essentials and give you ultimate freedom on the move.

The main compartment features a dedicated laptop sleeve large enough to accommodate most 15” laptops. There’s also space to include a PLATATAC TF Daybook and two Large PLATATAC DB Organisers. The main compartment also features a zippered pocket.

The PLATATAC Good to Go (G2G) V2 day pack is a fixed straps, lightweight Every Day Carry day pack. At a lightweight 800g, the G2G allows you to carry all your essentials without compromising weight and the main compartment is midsized for short duration operations or everyday use around town.

Internally, the G2G features one mesh zippered admin compartment and a hydration bladder sleeve with hook and loop bladder hanger. On top of the pack is a bar-tacked hydration tube/cable routing port. Externally the pack features two flat front zippered pockets for quick access to admin items. Dual 4 way stretch side pockets with cinch cords are large enough to carry a PLATATAC Flask, 1 litre Nalgene bottle or similar sized items.

Completely redesigned and integrated shoulder straps, with adjustable sternum straps, help the pack sit snug and secure to the wearer. Dual 19mm tensioning straps on either side are integrated for when the pack is full to capacity and the grab/hang handle has been made from 25mm web tape and wrapped with Cordura for strength.

COLLAPSIBLE MEI GRAB BAG

Originally designed and produced by our friends at RE Factor Tactical, the PLATATAC Collapsible MEI Grab Bag is a small, stowable, ultralight day pack, designed as a contingency when you require an extra carriage option for MEIs, SSE, or used as an every day carry, gym bag, or any other circumstance when more space is required.

The PLATATAC Collapsible MEI Grab Bag is made with DWR treated rip-stop nylon material to keep items dry. It features two flat pockets on the front to stow additional items separately. The integrated stuff pouch also doubles as an internal pocket. A 7cm x 5cm Velcro loop area allows for attachment of callsigns or other IFF options. Heat shrinkwrapped para cord zipper pulls on all zips make them easy to grab in a hurry.

PAFA MK3

The PLATATAC PAFA MK3 has been specifically designed and updated with the input and guidance over a number of years from SOF Medics and pre-hospital care experts, in order to provide a feature rich pack that will meet the requirements of those giving care in hostile and austere environments.

The pack features a thin profile, but is large enough to carry the necessary advanced life support items for operational medics working in confined spaces or providing tactical care away from a vehicle or in remote locations. The PAFA 3 was designed with the intent to be used as a primary aid kit and brings to the table a true user configurable option with a comprehensive array of removable internal and external pouches that can be arranged to suit end user needs.

Internal features include Velcro PALS area to configure the Velcro in & out med kit organisation set or attach additional MOLLE compatible pouches, a mesh pocket on the front flap with a Velcro loop area to further configure pouches, dual side access zippered pockets of which one contains vertical elastic loops to stow additional dressings etc... BRAVO MEDIC PACK

The Bravo Medic is a cut down version of the popular Delta Medic, but is more than a medic bag. The Bravo Medic was developed with direct feedback from Special Operations members and has been developed to be fill a multi-mission capability.

DELTA MEDIC PACK

With the requirement for First Responder and Trauma kits becoming an increasing priority due to operational environments, PLATATAC has developed a first responder kit with the operator in mind. The Delta Medic Pack 2 is a reduction in size from our Med Echo and Kilo Medic packs. Designed to be a lightweight and smaller option when space is critical. The kit is designed to fit lifesaving essentials such as chest seals, airways, IV bags and dressings. Retention loops and mesh dividers allow the operator to organise the kit to their team or personal requirements to ensure that lifesaving equipment is where you need it when you need. LRR JUNGLE ALICE PACK

The PLATATAC LRR (Long Range Reconnaissance)

Jungle Pack was developed to meet a specific enduser requirement for a pack system to be used when conducting jungle warfare operations. It takes inspiration from our SR Jungle Pack and old school ALICE packs.

Internally, the main body features two long internal side pockets for hydration bladders, a large radio/utility pouch on the rear wall, a flat mesh admin pocket on the front wall and a mesh divider to keep sleeping gear separated. The main compartment is closed with a roll top throat with two cinch cord closures.

Externally, three large pouches and admin pouch allow quick access to gear, these pouches feature mesh areas to aid in drainage. The PALS fields on the sides allow the user to boost the carrying capacity with extra pouches for extended operations, making this pack extremely versatile and suitable to more roles other than just Jungle operations.

The SR Jungle Pack was developed to meet a specific end-user requirement for a pack system to be used conducting jungle operations and is the base product of our SR jungle pack system. The main body is constructed out of one complete piece of fabric to provide higher strength while also creating a consistent shape throughout the height and width of the pack.

The tall design ensures the least resistance when moving through close terrain. The PALS fields on the sides and front allow the user to boost the carrying capacity with extra pouches for extended operations making this pack extremely versatile and suitable to more roles other than Jungle work.

DE (DIVE/ECHELON) BAG

The new PLATATAC DE (Dive/Echelon) Bag V2 is based around our classic, tried and tested, dyed in the wool dive bags with some additional features to cater to various tasks and roles. It is available in two sizes, a large for long trips/deployments and a medium for backs of vehicles or when storage space is at a premium.

The DE Bag V2 is manufactured from rugged, waterresistant 1000D nylon Cordura material. For added strength, the 50mm webbing that forms the shoulder strap and carry handles runs the full length and width of the bag. The main compartment features a D shaped zipper opening for ease of accessing and storing gear. There are two mesh pockets on the inside of the lid and two mesh zippered compartments running the full length of the bag to separate equipment and stow smaller items.

A large zippered compartment down each side and a medium zippered pocket at each end of the bag allow you to separate wet/dirty clothes, dirty shoes or extra gear without sacrificing volume and space in the main compartment. The web tape carry handle has a hook and loop cover further increasing comfort when carrying the DE Bag and is long enough to sling over your shoulder if required. PADDED RIFLE BAG

The PLATATAC Padded Rifle Bag is designed to store an AR-style rifle and additional upper with attached optics. The bag can be carried via two suitcase handles or flat sewn handles at each end of the bag. A detachable shoulder strap and stowable shoulder straps allow for optional hands-free carry.

The main compartment of the bag features a MOLLE/PALS style web tape system allowing velcro straps to be placed anywhere to keep the weapon secure. The barrels and buttstock can be secured further under the flaps at each end of the main compartment.

On the outside, there are two large pockets, one at each end with a smaller pocket in the middle, each of them designed to store different items. The larger zippered pockets have Velcro loop panels that allow you to attach the included magazine panels and Velcro pistol holster. They also feature mesh zippered pouches to stow cleaning gear, slings, spare parts and other ancillaries.

The middle pouch has been designed to fit a hard case with NVGs but can be used for other items such as boxes of ammunition or hearing and eye protection.

The PLATATAC Padded Weapon Carry Bag is designed to protect and securely transport any 38 inch or shorter rifle or the upper and lower receivers of a long gun. The customisable and sleek design provides multiple weapon carriage options with a low vis look. The bag features two suitcase-style handles and stowable shoulder straps allow for optional hands-free carry. A velcro loop field on the outside allows the attachment of call-signs or unit ID patches.

The inside of the lid has a zippered mesh pocket to stow loose items, such as a cleaning kit or spare mags. LIGHTWEIGHT RIFLE SLING KIT

The PLATATAC lightweight rifle sling combines proven features found on classic two point slings with the added comfort of a thin padded section into a minimalist adaptable system. The sling is adjustable via the ITW ladder lock at the forward end and combined with the ITW oval loop running down the webbing for a smooth adjustment allowing the user to instantly lengthen and shorten the sling - quickly transitioning from a “hands-free” carry to a shooting position with a simple pull of the webbing loop adjuster.

Also included in the kit are two mounting options, a para cord loop to attach to OEM rail systems or sling loops and a 19mm webbing loop for attaching your sling to the buttstock end of your rifle, both feature 25mm C loops to run the sling through.

BROWNING MK3 HOLSTER ENSEMBLE

The Blade-Tech Browning Mk3 Holster Ensemble is the issued Browning holster for the Australian Defence Force. It is a level 2 WRS (weapon retention system) holster which means it has its first level of retention being friction and it second level being an active system.

The active safety system is an attached singular safety lock which, when pressed inward toward the body, releases the bail used to retain the weapon. If the safety lock is not deactivated, the weapon cannot be drawn from the holster. The WRS retention release button is conveniently located on the thumb side of the firearm which allows for instant access to the weapon and a swift draw of the weapon. The holster is precision moulded to the shape of the weapon which helps retain a secure retention, as well allowing a speedy draw. The holster’s tension can be adjusted via two screws .

Blade-Tech’s TMMS (Tactical Modular Mount System) offers a quick and tool-less method for mounting and removing your gear across multiple mounting platforms – belt, MOLLE vest, thigh rig, etc. Quickly transfer gear from belt, to vest, to leg, or anywhere else you can stick a TMMS Receiver Plate. The inner attachment is designed to be firmly locked and unlocked from the outer mechanisms. A builtin secondary lock can be employed to further achieve a more secure fit. This configuration allows the user to quickly and conveniently move the holster from their thigh to chest or belt and back.

SOCD ASOT MKII

The PLATATAC SOCD Australian Special Operations Tool (ASOT) MkII is designed as a fast access personal defence tool, intended to bridge the gap between hand to knife and knife to primary weapons system. Designed by an Australian Tier-one operator, it is an evolution from our original ASOT.

The ring of the ASOT enhances feel in the hand and the tool’s accessibility, making it exceptionally fast and easy to draw. Its primary advantage over conventional blades is the retention it offers, whilst allowing for a seamless transition to a handgun with no disconnect between the tool and gun.

A low profile design allows the tool to be sandwiched between magazine or accessories pouches, this means no-one knows it’s there but the operator carrying it.

In CQB, rapid access to the tool is critical to create space in a lethal clinch situation, the ASOT gives the operator best balance between speed of deployment whilst maintaining optimum concealment and retention.

CEREMONIAL AAS COMMANDO DAGGER

Platypus Outdoors Group through our PLATATAC brand have been a long-time supporter of Australian Commandos. As part of that commitment we have forged a specifically shaped dagger, an AAS – Australian Army Stiletto. The AAS is available through the Australian Commando Association, 1st Commando Regiment, 2nd Commando Regiment and the Special Air Service Regiment.

We have spent many years refining the design and manufacturing process of the dagger. We have now officially partnered with our specialist knife makers from Sheffield England, to finalise the project. They have mastered the British traditions of bespoke knife design. Our bladesmiths are also the current manufacturers for the Ministry of Defence – Sykes Fairbairn.

Each AAS comes with a traditional WW2 leather sheath, and are individually numbered.
