Platypus Design Hub is a company dedicated to the design and creation of custom merchandise. We have the capability to produce everything from apparel and webbing through to PVC patches and plaques. We can embroider, screen print, mould, carve, sand‌you name it and we can probably do it. Yearly we complete over 5000 design jobs for a range of customers worldwide including civilian, Military, Police and other special agencies. We can provide a never-ending array of custom merchandise. COOL UNDER SHIRTS Our Cool Under Shirt can be customised with both screen printing and embroidery. We can provide customisation on the front, rear and sleeves of the shirts. Multiple colours can be used, with up to 8 colours the overall designs of each shirt. Shirt fabric colours can be customised upon request.

100% COTTON SHIRTS Our 100% Cotton Shirts can be customised with either screen printing or embroidery. We have a 5 colour maximum for design implementation. Please not we do note offer both embroidery and screen printing on the one shirt. Fabric colours include tan, khaki, navy, midnight blue, grey marle and olive.

COTTON BLEND SHIRTS Our Cotton Blend Shirts can be customised with both screen printing and embroidery. We can provide customisation on the front, rear and sleeves of the shirts. TACTICAL CAPS Our Tactical Caps are customised with embroidery. We offer embroidery on all 6 panels of the cap. Our caps come with hook and loop fasteners at the rear. We offer loop field and button options for the crown of the cap. We also offer loop field patches for all cap panels. Cap fabric colour can be customised on request or supplied in available patterns.

TRUCKER CAPS Our Trucker Caps are customised with embroidery. We offer embroidery on all 6 panels of the cap. Our caps come with hook and loop fasteners at the rear. We offer loop field and button options for the crown of the cap. We also offer loop field patches for all cap panels. Cap fabric and mesh colour can be customised on request.

BEANIES Our ribbed beanies are made from 100% acrylic and can have custom embroidered designs or silk woven tags attached. Available in both black and grey, if you require a different colour please get in touch and we’ll try to achieve the required colour.

TIES We offer our Ties in both polyester and silk styles. Our ties can be customised with any pattern you may require. Our silk ties are recommended for simple graphics with solid flat detail. Our polyester ties are better suited for more detailed imagery and asymmetric designs. Solid colours and strips work best for our tie base designs.

STABLE BELTS Our Stable Belts be customised with 3D cast metal and enamel fill. We provide several types of metals that our stable belts can be plated in. We also can also provide custom webbing colours, please contact us for webbing colour we may already have. We have two sizes of stable belts that we offer. Our belts are available in 45mm & 60mm webbing.

BLOKES BITS HOLDERS Keep all your bits and pieces together neat in the Platatac Blokes Bits Holder (BBH). Store your wallet, keys, pens and or your shaving products. Take it on deployment or on your next camping adventure. Easily store away flat in your backpack and clip the four corners together to assemble. Custom embroidery available for both the front and rear of the BBH.

WRISTBANDS Our Silicone Wristbands can be customised by embossing and debossing the silicone rubber. We also offer printing for coloured graphics. The silicone base colour of the wristbands can also be customised upon request. It is recommended to use simple imagery with 4 colours maximum to ensure the cleanest results possible.

PVC PATCHES Our PVC Patches are made from soft synthetic plastic polymer. Our patches can be made to any size or shape. There is no limit with colour choice. Our patches come with a hook field on the rear, though this can be removed. PVC rubber is cleaner in its appearance and allows for more intricate designs.

EMBROIDERED PATCHES Our Embroidered Patches are made from cotton twill and rayon thread. Our patches can be made to any size or shape. We provide a vast array of thread and twill colours, including MultiCam and DPCU. Our patches come with a hook field on the rear, though this can be removed and replaced with iron on adhesive.

FLAGS Our Flags are made with cotton base fabric and polyester thread. Our flags are customised with embroidery, however for small more intricate designs we offer printed patches which are embroidered onto the flag. There are no limitations with size and colour choices. All Sub-unit and Battalion flags meet ADF flag specifications.

BAR MATS Our Bar Mats are made with a polyester fabric top and a non-slip nitrile rubber base. The bar mats use digital sublimation printing which allows for great detail in the final print graphic. The bar mats can be customised with any colour fabric background required. Please note that the rubber base is not customisable in colour.

COINS Our Coins can be customised with 3D cast metal and enamel fill. We provide several types of metal including, gold metal, silver metal, bronze metal, antique gold metal and antique silver metal. We can provide custom engraving and numbering. We also offer epoxy coating.

TIE BARS Our Tie Bars can be customised with 3D cast metal and enamel fill. We provide several types of metals that our tie bars can be plated in. These items are a great option for a professional and sleek appearance. The tie bars work great with matching money clips and cufflinks.

MEDALS/MEDALLIONS Our Medals can be customised with 3D cast metal and enamel fill. The ribbon colour can also be customised upon request. We also have the option of custom printed felt and wooden boxes to hold the medals. There is no limitation to the metal size, but we suggest a 50mm diameter for the most aesthetic medal.

CUFFLINKS Our Cufflinks can be customised with 3D cast metal and enamel fill. We provide several types of metals that our cufflinks can be plated in. We can provide our cufflinks with or without a custom printed velvet display box. Our cufflinks use a bullet back and toggle closure. The cuff links work great with matching money clips and tie bars.

CREDIT CARD BOTTLE OPENERS Our Credit Card Bottle Openers can be customised with both laser etching and printing. There are no limitations with colour. We can provide full print or partial print. Both sides are customisable. We can achieve great detail with the prints, allowing for small type and complicated imagery.

ZIPPO LIGHTERS Genuine Zippo lighters make for a great customised gift idea. The lighters can be both engraved and printed front and rear. All lighters come in original Zippo packaging. The lighters have a great brushed metal finish.

BREW FLASKS Our Brew Flasks can be customised with printing on the top of the lid. We offer the printing size of up to 50mm in diameter. We offer full colour printing for this area. The brew flask base colour comes in either black, olive drab, navy or khaki. The brew flask is a stainless-steel insulated flask that is perfect for hot food and drink.

STUBBIE COOLERS Our Lay Flat Stubby Coolers are available in adjustable neoprene backed plastic or 100% neoprene. This option is best for detailed designs that require higher resolution. We can custom print around the full circumference and height of the stubby.

MUGS Our Mugs can be customised with print graphics. We provide two styles of mugs, one being our ceramic mug and the other being our colour change ceramic mug. We can provide custom printing over 330 degrees of the outer circumference of the mug, allowing for almost full graphic coverage.

PLAQUES We offer a range of Plaque styles and sizes. We can offer metal plaques on wooden backings, metal plaques on framed felt backings and plaque pieces with no backing. Our plaques can be customised with 3D cast metal and enamel fill. We provide several types of metals that our plaques can be plated in. All plaques come in a sleek presentation box (image to right).

BESPOKE FIGURINES We can offer custom made figurines to any design imaginable. We have partnered with NAKED ARMY to achieve the best quality cold cast bronze figurines. NAKED ARMY is a recognised Defence supplier, capable of producing monumental sculpture and museum-grade commemorative collectable figurines.

MOUNTED FIGURINES We have a large range of in stock figurines that we can mount for presentation. We can also arrange metal plaques to be engraved and affixed to the mount.
