Five reasons to couple up
PLASSON’s Quick Coupling Valve lets you trigger pressurized water systems by simply inserting a key. When the key is inserted, water flows to your hose or sprinkler.

The Quick Coupling Valve or QCV connects to any system quickly and easily with a Plasson fitting or tapping saddle.
Flexible risers can be used to accommodate varying pipe depths. The valve also has a ¾” or 1” thread.
The QCV is made to withstand Australia ’ s toughest conditions. The body is polypropylene and acetal with a stainless steel spring and nitrile rubber seals.
The Quick Coupling Valve is an efficient solution for livestock watering systems, sprinkler or landscape irrigation.

The new lilac coloured caps mean the QCV is approved for use in recycled water and treated effluent systems.

Quick Coupling Valves are also known as Turf Valves because they are often installed at ground level, either stand-alone or inside a valve box.
QCV' s are an efficient way to access and control water from your mainline. They can replace above-ground taps with stand pipes and installing in a valve box allows you to run a mower over the top of them.
The QVC is simple to operate: open the cap, insert the valve key and lock it into place. This opens the valve and turns water on to your hose or sprinkler. Removing the key closes the valve and turns the water off.
