Saudi Crown Prince and Softbank signed a memorandum of understanding to building a $200 billion solar power project in the oil-rich kingdom. The huge project will be partially bankrolled by the massive $93 billion SoftBank Vision Fund, of which Saudi Arabia is the biggest backer. The project will eventually generate 200 gigawatts of energy, far more than any existing solar project. It would provide enough electricity to simultaneously power about 20 billion LED light bulbs. The project will create 100,000 jobs and save Saudi Arabia $40 billion in power generation costs

XCMG 700-Ton Hydraulic Excavator Changes the Global Landscape of Mining Equipment Industry
On the morning of April 2, XCMG 700ton hydraulic excavator rolled off the production line successfully. Honored as “China’s Largest Excavator”, XCMG 700-ton hydraulic excavator is driven by two 1,700-horsepower motors, exceeding the power of two Type 99 Main Battle Tanks. Its weight is equivalent to that of 500 ordinary sedans, and overall length of 23.5 meters approximates to the body length of the largest creature on earth---mature blue whale. With the bucket width of 5 meters and bucket capacity of 34 cubic meters, the bucket can dig more than 50 tons of coal each time the leveraging maximum thrust pressure is 243 tons and stick digging force is 230 tons. It has achieved breakthrough in centralized application of crucial technologies for the first time in the field of ultra-large type hydraulic excavator in China, marking that China has become the fourth country having R&D and manufacturing capacity for 700 –ton and above hydraulic excavator in the wake of Germany, Japan and America. وقــع ولــي العهــد الســعودي مــع ســوفت بنــك علــى مذكـرة تفاهــم لبنــاء مشــروع للطاقــة الشمســية بقيمــة 200مليــار دوالر فــي المملكــة الغنيــة بالنفــط .وســيتم تمويــل المشــروع الضخــم مــن خــالل صنــدوق «رؤيــة ســوفت بنــك» الضخــم والبالــغ قيمتــه 93مليــار دوالر ،وتعــد المملكــة العربيــة الســعودية أكبــر الشــركات الداعمــة لــه .وســيولد المشــروع فــي نهايــة المطــاف 200جيجــاوات مــن الطاقــة ،أي أكثــر بكثيــر مــن أي مشــروع للطاقــة الشمســية .وســيوفر مــا يكفــي مــن الكهربــاء لتشــغيل حوالــي 20مليــار مصبــاح ضوئــي فــي نفــس الوقــت .وســيوفر المشــروع 100000فرصــة عمــل ويوفــر 40مليــار دوالر مــن تكاليــف توليــد الكهربــاء فــي المملكــة العربيــة الســعودية.
