The project involves the construction of Website: www.saudiaramco.com a 300,000 barrels per day (bpd) gas/ oil separation plant, a greenfield gas processing plant, a co-generation facility, platforms, laying of gas pipelines and modification to existing facility to add natural gas liquids fractionation capacity. The Marjan project will boost the field’s output by 300,000 B/D of Arabian Medium crude and 2.5 Bscf/D of gas with the construction of an offshore gas-oil separation plant and 24 offshore oil, gas, and water injection platforms. The company plans to expand its Tanajib onshore oil facilities and build a new gas plant to include gas treatment and processing, natural gas liquids recovery and fractionation, and gas compression facilities. The second package includes 200 kilometres of subsea pipelines across 21 segments and 150 kilometres of subsea cables across 15 segments, as well as three tie-in platforms and nine oil wellhead platforms. Meanwhile, the third package involves a gas cap production network and other tie-ins and wellhead platforms, for the production of non-associated gas and gas cap injection. The Marjan contractors are required to prioritize material and equipment procurement from local suppliers and manufacturers in support of Saudi Aramco’s goal to increase its locally-sourced goods and services to 70% by 2021. 10 PlantAndEquipment.com | August 2019

Ineos is to spend $2 billion building three chemicals plants in Saudi Arabia, heralding the first investment in the Middle East by the business controlled by British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe. The privately owned group will construct the facilities at a vast petrochemicals complex being developed in the oil-rich kingdom. The Amiral petrochemicals project, a $5 billion joint venture between state-owned Saudi Aramco and French energy group Total announced last year, will supply the feedstock to the new Ineos plants. Ineos has signed a memorandum of understanding with both companies. Saudi Aramco, the world’s largest oil exporter, has been investing heavily in refining and petrochemicals as it seeks to reduce its reliance on foreign crude sales that also deliver the bulk of government revenues.

Meraas Holding in partnership with Carnival Corporation, the world’s largest leisure travel company, appointed ASGC to construct the new Dubai Cruise Terminal that will create a unique entry experience to all cruise ship passengers who arrive in the emirate. Musanada will spend $8.2 million (AED30 million) on the Reptile Park project, which will span 11,500m2. The project will require Musanada to demolish Al Ain Zoo’s existing Reptile House and replace it with the new structure, which will include indoor and outdoor exhibits. Meanwhile, the $25.5 million (AED93.5 million) Elephant Safari project will see Musanada construct a natural safari exhibit for visitors across an area of 1.7ha, creating a habitat for 15 African elephants. The safari will be connected to the existing Al Ain Safari and the Lions Exhibition. Musanada is spending $4.8 million (AED17.8 million) to build Gorilla Sanctuary, which spans 8,725m2 and also involves the demolition of a structure that will be replaced by exhibition courts and wooded areas, along with facilities for five female and one male gorillas. The UAE’s Federal Electricity & Water Authority (FEWA) agreed the deal with Saudi Arabia’s ACWA Power and MDC Power Holding Company LLC, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Investment Company. FEWA will hold a 20% stake while ACWA Power and Mubadala will each own 40%. The government of Umm Al Quwain will join as a partner and own a stake at a later date in the 150 million gallons per day plant. Construction will start in the second half of 2019, with initial water production scheduled in 2021. The project is FEWA’s first asset in partnership with the private sector and will reinforce the UAE’s water security strategy. Once commissioned, the plant will be the largest desalination project in the northern Emirates.

he steady growth in both exhibitor and visitor numbers at Automechanika Dubai 2019 has underlined a successful conclusion to the Middle East and Africa’s (MEA) largest automotive aftermarket trade fair. The 17th edition of the annual showcase, which took place from 10-12 June at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre with 1,880 exhibitors from 63 countries at 32,720 trade buyers from 146 countries onboard. Automechanika Dubai 2019 covered the six major product sections of Parts & Components and Electronics & Systems (1,181 exhibitors); Accessories & Customizing (246 exhibitors); Tyres & Batteries (226 exhibitors); Repair & Maintenance (155 exhibitors); and Car Wash, Care & Reconditioning (72 exhibitors). In 2019, the show also added the four new subcategories of Agricultural Parts & Equipment; Body & Paint; Motorcycle Competence; and Oils & Lubricants. The move was designed to make it easier for the tens of thousands of visitors to navigate the vast 63,300sqm expanse of exhibition space. Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo 2019 Breaks Records

ith further enhanced fringe program and an influx of new exhibitors, the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo 2019 writes history again and consolidates its position as largest exhibition dedicated to the commercial vehicle industry in South East Asia. The anticipation for the event was palpable whenever industry players gathered and finally the show arrived with a lot of highlights to report. Themed “The Future of Transportation in Malaysia”, the fourth instalment of the exhibition further highlighted the importance of commercial vehicles to move the nation. Fully booked Event organiser Asian Trucker Media proudly reported that there has been an increase in bookings for space for this year’s exhibition. “Not only have we received more bookings compared to the previous exhibitions, but we actually sold out all space available. There were even requests for space that we could not accommodate anymore,” said Stefan Pertz, representing the organiser. It was learned that Asian Trucker Media is considering opening up more exhibition space for the 2021 exhibition to accommodate more exhibitors. IVECO Holds Body Builder Convention in Turkey to Share New Business Opportunities in the African and Middle Eastern Markets IVECO invited body builders from across Turkey to present the latest vehicles in its product range and share with them the new organisation created to facilitate body builder activities in Africa and the Middle East

VECO Turkey gathered body builders from across Turkey at a Convention that took place in Istanbul on 11th July. The event, which follows IVECO’s biannual body builder event held last November, aimed to discuss with the participants new business opportunities in African and Middle Eastern markets The convention was attended by more than one hundred body builders. Around 70% of the participants specialize in the light and medium segments, manufacturing body types ranging from box body to more complex super structures such as road sweeping and waste disposal. The other 30% specialize in the heavy segment with applications such as mixers, tippers, trailers. In his opening speech, IVECO Turkey Marketing Director Tansu Giz stated: “We organized this event with the aim of offering body builders new opportunities abroad, since the Turkish market has contracted for two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019.

Mammoet Commits to Replacing Hardwood Timbers with Sustainable Bamboo

ammoet is making the switch to using sustainable bamboo jacking beams across all its operations.
Bamboo jacking beams to be rolled out across Mammoet operations. Following the success of these beams in the field, Mammoet has now made a commitment to replace hardwood with a bamboo alternative throughout the business. Mammoet jacking operations all over the world are now more sustainable. For many years the heavy lifting industry has relied on jacking timbers made from a tropical hardwood - azobé. As use of hardwood from endangered tropical forests became an increasing concern, Mammoet collaborated with MOSO, an international pioneer in bamboo solutions, to find a suitable replacement. After extensive operational and quality assurance testing, these jacking beams are now also available for use by other companies, for heavy lifting and transport operations and other practical applications. The beams are created from a bamboo and resin composite which provides increased stiffness and strength, enabling the beams to be cut to precision dimensions and hold their 22 PlantAndEquipment.com | August 2019

Bamboo has many advantages over the traditional hardwood material, it is stronger than azobé, grows very quickly and absorbs more carbon dioxide while releasing more oxygen than almost any other plant. “Mammoet will only order bamboo jacking beams from now on,” says Mammoet’s Chief Operating Officer, Jan Kleijn. “As the global market leader, Mammoet realizes there is a need to use resources responsibly to minimize our impact on the environment,” he said. “This is why we are replacing azobé with bamboo jacking timbers. hina-based fuel cell system integrator SHPT announced the first successful test off the assembly line of the FKY311/FKY312 municipal sanitation medium-duty trucks from SAIC YUEJIN (SAIC MAXUS Branch), featuring the new generation of proton exchange membrane fuel cell P390 . The very compact, high-speed and highly reliable electrical compressor developed and made by Liebherr is a key element of the fuel cell system and was part of this successful trial. The medium-duty trucks can cover a range of more than 400 km and can be cold-started at low temperatures such as - 30 °C.

MERCEDES-BENZ VANS: Sales start for the Mercedes-Benz Citan Night Package
T
he Mercedes-Benz Citan Tourer and Panel Van models recently became available for order with a new equipment package: the Night Package with strikingly sporty accents and elegant black design elements give the compact small van from Mercedes-Benz Vans a bold look. The Night Package features black painted exterior mirrors, a radiator grille in black chrome, a tailgate with black trim strip and 16-inch light-alloy wheels in matt grey. What’s more, the Panel Van also features tinted glazing for the rear window. The Tourer equipped with the Night Package also features a tinted rear window as well as dark-tinted rear side windows which protect passengers from the effects of heat and direct sunlight. The Night Package is priced at 1535.10 euros (including 19 percent VAT) and is available in all markets in which the Citan is sold. Deliveries will start in September 2019.
Besides the Night Package, the equally newly available Design Package RED also serves to enhance the Citan’s dynamic appearance. Red decor stripes under the radiator grille at the front and on the mirror housings, as well as grey stripes in the lower area of the driver’s and co-driver’s doors as well as the sliding doors serve to highlight the unique character of the vehicle. What’s more, the package scores extra points thanks to its chrome-plated radiator trim and chrome trim strip on the tailgate.

Volvo Trucks Cut Fuel Consumption with New Software and Upgraded Engines
V
olvo Trucks is introducing new functions that help drivers save fuel even when cruise control is not activated. The launch of upgraded D13 diesel engines for Euro 3, Euro 4, Euro 5 and EEV markets, together with the new software, enables fuel savings of up to 3%. The new function is called Volvo Torque Assist and is intended to reduce fuel consumption by providing more efficient driving when the cruise control is disabled in long haul operations.
“Drivers that are less skilled in economical driving benefit more than those who already have that driving style,” explains Peter Hardin. “The new software also gives a more significant result with heavy loads, many slope changes or large speed variations, while drivers transporting lighter loads with constant speed on flat roads will save less fuel. In field tests we have actually seen examples of a larger potential for savings, than the 3%.” Upgraded hardware
“We have seen that there is a need to help drivers save fuel also when the cruise control cannot be used. I-Cruise, our intelligent cruise control, is still the best way to optimize fuel consumption, but sometimes it might not be applicable. In this way we can support the driver to cut fuel costs in such driving situations,” says Peter Hardin, Director Product Management at Volvo Trucks.
The hardware upgrades in the Euro 6 Step D versions of the D13 engine, released earlier in 2019, are also being used to raise the standards of the Euro 3 to 5 engines. Internal friction has been reduced with new cylinder liners and new V-shaped oil scraper rings. The turbo efficiency has been improved and the engine management system is upgraded to a newer version with better capacity.
Volvo Torque Assist is designed to give more fuel-efficient driving by automatically adapting the truck’s torque and acceleration to the road topography, the load and speed changes. The function is only active when driving without using cruise control.
In all, these hardware upgrades save around 1% fuel, while the fuel saving potential for the new software depends on driver experience and the operating conditions.
Another supporting function keeps the amount of injected fuel constant after the engine’s ‘green range’ has been passed. The slightly compromised performance is compensated by improved fuel economy. The pedal map has also been recalibrated. A less sensitive pedal creates a smoother torque development, which, in turn, makes the truck easier to control. 24 PlantAndEquipment.com | August 2019

he fully-electric Mercedes-Benz eActros will now take to the roads for the food logistics specialist Nagel-Group in Hamburg. The vehicle will round off the Mercedes-Benz Trucks eActros “Innovation Fleet” for testing the heavy-duty electric truck. The first eActros has been taking part in customer testing since September 2018. The eActros in use by Nagel-Group is the tenth vehicle in the fleet. The aim is to be able to realise clean and quiet short-radius distribution in urban areas from 2021 using heavy-duty series-production trucks. The official hand-over

of the eActros took place in the Hans-DunckerStreet at the Nagel-Group branch in south-east Hamburg. The 18 tonne truck with a range of up to 200 km supplies refrigerated foodstuffs to different customers such as supermarkets in central Hamburg. As a fully-electric and therefore locally emission-free truck, the eActros can also drive in zones subject to bans on diesel vehicles. After the daily round, the batteries are charged directly at the company’s depot overnight.

Feedback from these practical tests flows directly into further development of the eActros right up until its readiness for series production.
The eActros: emission-free alternative for short-radius urban distribution The eActros is based on the frame of the Mercedes-Benz Actros. However, the vehicle’s architecture has been resolutely designed around an electric drive system and thus features a high percentage of vehicle-specific components. Two electric motors near the wheel hubs of the rear axle provide the drive, each delivering an output of 126 kW and 485 Nm maximum torque. Furthermore, the transmission ratio used sees this brought up to 11,000 Nm on each wheel. The drive power is therefore on par with a conventional truck. Lithium-ion batteries with 240 kWh capacity provide the eActros with the required energy. Depending on the available charging output, the batteries can be charged completely within as little as two hours (at 150 kW). The development and testing of the heavyduty electric truck in short-radius distribution operations is sponsored as part of the “Concept ELV²” project to varying degrees by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMUB) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). Refrigerated swap body from Schmitz Cargobull The swap body on the eActros used by the Nagel-Group is the “W.KO COOL” model from Schmitz Cargobull. It has optimum insulation for energy-efficient transport of refrigerated goods. This robust body is ideally suited for intensive day-to-day use. Cooled entirely by electricity, the cooling unit is 100% emissionsfree and is specially designed for use in shortradius distribution.

T
he CatÂŽ 794 AC Mining Truck is now available equipped to meet U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final exhaust emissions standards. In field testing, the Tier 4 pilot trucks matched the superior performance and productivity of the Tier 2 equivalent versions of the 794 AC. The Tier 4 trucks also delivered lower operating costs by reducing diesel fuel consumption. The 320-ton-class (290-tonne-class) 794 AC features the Cat C175-16 diesel engine. The Tier 4 truck is equipped with an exhaust aftertreatment system using a selective catalytic reduction system (SCR), which uses diesel exhaust fluid to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides. Caterpillar selected the SCR solution, because it provides the most robust and reliable Tier 4 Final emissions compliance without sacrificing engine performance. The modular SCR design, adopted from other Cat production machines, minimizes new content and design changes to the field-proven 794 AC. Designed for easy serviceability

with readily accessible components, the aftertreatment system is aligned with truck preventive maintenance intervals to maintain high availability. This Cat emissions platform is proven through more than 20 million operating hours in the field. Caterpillar is using the same exhaust aftertreatment platform in the process to gain EU Stage V certification of the 794 AC. The Stage V certification process is currently in progress.
latest NEWS // CATERPILLAR Comprehensive field testing The Tier 4 Final 794 AC design successfully completed field validation, with all the pilot trucks exceeding requirements. The machines integrated and worked seamlessly in each mine ecosystem, and customers reported excellent performance and reliability. The trucks were put to the test in a variety of applications, including hot and cold ambient temperatures, uphill hauls and flat hauls. In a copper mine, Caterpillar conducted an on-site performance study of the 794 AC
Tier 4 Final trucks and measured no loss in performance or productivity compared to the Tier 2 equivalent 794 AC trucks. In addition, the machines demonstrated up to 5.6 percent less diesel fuel burn over the haul cycle. The 794 AC Tier 4 Final trucks have accumulated more than 10,000 hours of operating time and continue to deliver reliable and productive performance in multiple North American mines. With a capacity of up to 113l, storage solutions have been designed for multiple professional usage. Impressive technology: first fully integrated electric axle drive goes into production Millions of vehicles are already on the move today with Continental technology. This year will still see major innovations relating to Continental’s automotive trend topics going into production for the first time. The technology company has been able to convince vehicle manufacturers in China and Europe of the performance of Continental’s electric axle drive. The module weighs less than 80 kilograms and includes an electric motor, transmission, power electronics, and motor control. Thanks to the integration, numerous cable connections and plugs can be dispensed with. The fully integrated axle drive thus reduces the weight of electric vehicles by around 20 kilograms. Further production successes with autonomous driving and 5G connectivity Another production launch this year is a milestone in the development toward autonomous driving. The autonomous EZ10 shuttle bus from the French company EasyMile is the first to use a Continental radar system that has been specially developed for driverless vehicles and is ready for production. A total of seven radar sensors, each with a range of up to 200 meters, continuously monitor the vehicle environment. With this data, the system adapts its driving strategy, avoids obstructions and therefore prevents dangerous traffic situations on the route ahead at an early stage. Since such autonomous shuttle buses will be mainly used in an urban environment in future, this system protects pedestrians and cyclists in particular. Furthermore, development of Continental’s first worldwide 5G solution for a vehicle manufacturer is already underway. On this new platform, Continental’s connectivity experts are combining the features of fifth-generation cellular communications with technologies for short-distance radio for direct data exchange between different vehicles and the infrastructure. The vehicles talk to each other
Continental electric axle faster than ever before, with fewer interruptions. They can warn one other, for example, of accidents behind a bend or traffic jams ahead. Here, too, Continental is integrating previously separate functions, reducing the vehicle’s weight. This represents an important contribution to the environmental efficiency of vehicles and increased road safety. In the development phase: language assistants with natural speech in the car One result of Continental research is intuitively designed operating systems. Simple communication between the driver and the vehicle with the aid of an intelligent voice-activated digital companion and threedimensional displays increases the acceptance of new vehicle technologies. Continental is working on an adaptive voiceactivated digital companion that reacts to natural speech and is precisely adapted to vehicle conditions. This makes operation easier and drivers do not have to take their eyes off the road. This increases attention to traffic, reduces the risk of accidents, and also lets the driver relax. Another trend-setting concept is connected windows in the car. These can be specifically darkened, for example to avoid glare caused by a low sun. Furthermore, they reduce the energy required for cooling the vehicle interior and simply enhance occupant privacy.

Smart intersections in the smart city: everyone arrives safely In pilot cities in North America and Asia, Continental is currently exploring the possibilities presented by greater connectivity between all road users. In this project, ordinary traffic intersections have been transformed into highly intelligent test fields equipped with smart sensor technology. Traffic lights and streetlights equipped with sensors exchange data with vehicles in the vicinity to protect pedestrians and cyclists in particular. This technology can, for instance, warn a driver of concealed pedestrians or other more vulnerable road users when turning left. Traffic data from street lamps can ultimately reduce emissions: signal changes at traffic lights can be controlled in such a way as to optimize traffic flow and reduce stationary time at intersections. Performance, efficiency, driving enjoyment: tailored electric drives for every need In the run-up to the IAA, Continental is demonstrating its outstanding systems expertise in the field of electric drives by showcasing more exciting innovations. hybrid vehicles. The 48-volt high-power drive system with 30 kilowatts of output means it is now possible to drive even long distances purely with electric power for the first time. Greater safety, greater convenience, greater connectivity - for the benefit of all road users Continental is setting technological milestones not only in the field of electric drives, but also in the development of autonomous driving, a second major trend at this year’s IAA. 40 years of G - with attractive editions What began in the early 1970s with a collaboration agreement between the then Daimler-Benz AG and Steyr-Daimler-Puch in the Austrian city of Graz is now a unique piece of automotive history. The concept for the new off-road vehicle was in itself unusual: it combines superior off-road capability with fullyfledged roadworthiness and safety. All-wheel drive and 100-percent differential locks have also been part of the “G” since that time, as has the robust ladder-type frame. In 1975 the decision was also made to commence series production of the G-models. At the same time it was agreed to construct a new plant in Graz, where the vehicles have been manufactured ever since, mainly built by hand. 80 percent of all the G-Class vehicles ever produced are still in use – testament to the outstanding quality of the off-road legend.

he strength of Nissan’s dedication to new vehicle quality showed across the board in the J.D. Power 2019 U.S. Initial Quality Study (IQS) - led by the Nissan TITAN full-size pickup. TITAN was ranked not only the best performer in the “Large Light Duty Pickup” segment with 66 problems per hundred vehicles (PPH), but also tied for seventh in fewest overall problems among all 257 vehicles studied. In addition, Nissan had no models in its car, truck, crossover and SUV lineup with more than 100 PPH and performed better than the industry average for the fourth consecutive year. For 2019, Nissan moved up one spot to fifth (Non-Premium). Since the 2015 model year, Nissan has improved 35 PPH. J.D. Power measures initial quality by the number of problems experienced per 100 vehicles during the first 90 days of ownership, with a lower score reflecting higher quality. “It is rewarding to see Nissan’s continuous improvement in the J.D. Power U.S. Initial Quality Study over the past several years, and it is especially good to see TITAN and Maxima win their IQS categories for 2019,” said Health Holtz, senior vice president, manufacturing, supply chain management and purchasing, Nissan North America, Inc. “Initial quality is one

Ford decided it was time to do something about this and is celebrating World Emoji Day with the debut of the pickup truck emoji. “When customers started demanding a truck emoji, we knew we had to help make it happen,” said Joe Hinrichs, Ford’s president, automotive. “Given the popularity of Ford trucks globally, there’s no one better than Ford to help bring an allnew pickup truck emoji to hard-working texters around the globe.” In 2018, Ford submitted a proposal to the Unicode Consortium - the organization that reviews and approves proposals for new emoji - to add a truck to emoji keyboards everywhere. Solar Team Twente Unveils New Solar Car

olar Team Twente unveiled their new solar car, the RED E. With the new car the team is aiming for a top position during the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia in October this year. Smallest and most energy efficient solar car ever ready to compete in Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. Mammoet supports Solar Team Twente in their quest to win the World Solar Challenge. For this year’s design, the team has chosen to use GaAs (Gallium Arsenide) solar cells. These solar cells are mainly used in space travel, because of their high energy efficiency – higher light absorption combined with a higher energy output. As a result, only 2.64 m2 of solar panel surface is needed, instead of 4 m2, for the necessary power output. This choice has enabled the team to design a car that is much smaller than before – in effect it is 1.5 meters shorter than the previous version of the solar car, earning the smallest solar car in Solar Team Twente’s history the nickname, “The Kart”. 48 PlantAndEquipment.com | August 2019

The competing teams will traverse Australia in a 3,000 kilometer race, from Darwin to Adelaide. فورد تسعى لتوفير إيموجي شاحنة البيك آب قريب ًا على • بناء على إرثها الحافل في قطاع الشاحنات على مدار 100عام ،طلبت فورد من "مج ّمع يونيكود" ( )Unicode Consortiumإدراج إيموجي الشاحنة ضمن قائمة رموز إيموجي املعتمدة • فورد تقدم طلب إدراج أول إيموجي لشاحنة بيك آب احتفاء باليوم العاملي لإليموجي وبالنيابة عن جميع مستخدمي هذا النوع من الشاحنات في العالم • بعد شهور من التطوير واالختبارات السرية ،تم طرح إيموجي شاحنة البيك آب ضمن القائمة القصيرة للرموز الجديدة التي قد يتم إطالقها خالل التحديث الجديد للرموز في مطلع عام 2020 يرسل الناس من مختلف أنحاء العالم مليارات رموز إيموجي يومي ًا .وتضم قائمة الرموز املدرجة من قبل "مج ّمع يونيكود" ( )Unicode Consortiumوالبالغ عددها 3000 رمز العديد من وسائل النقل بما فيها السيارات ودراجات السكوتر والقوارب وسفن الفضاء ومصاعد التزلج، لكن عشاق الشاحنات الحظوا خلو القائمة من إيموجي الشاحنات .ومن هذا املنطلق، وبمناسبة اليوم العاملي لإليموجي ،قامت فورد بتصميم وإطالق إيموجي شاحنة البيك آب ملستخدمي الهواتف الذكية حول العالم. وفي هذا السياق ،قال املركبات جو هنريكس ،رئيس قسم على تلبية رغبة لدى فورد " :كنا واثقني من قدرتنا العمالء الذين طلبوا الحصول على إيموجي مخصص للشاحنات .ونظر ًا إلى شعبية شاحنات F-Seriesحول العالم ،فإن فورد هي العالمة األقدر على تقديم رمز إيموجي جديد كلي ًا لشاحنة البيك آب ليستخدمه عشاق املراسلة حول العالم". وكانت فورد قد قدمت في عام 2018اقتراح ًا إلى "مج ّمع يونيكود" املسؤول عن مراجعة رموز إيموجي الجديدة واملوافقة عليها ،إلضافة إيموجي الشاحنة إلى قائمة
الخيارات على مختلف لوحات املفاتيح .وتم اآلن إدراج إيموجي شاحنة بيك آب ضمن قائمة الرموز املرشحة للطرح في إصدار "يونيكود" األخير. وتم تطوير تصميم اإليموجي الجديد تماشي ًا مع التوجهات الحالية .وأشار كريغ متروس ،مدير التصميم لدى فورد في شمال أمريكا" :أمضى فريق عملنا وقت ًا في متابعة املشاركات على مواقع التواصل االجتماعي والتواصل مع املؤثرين في هذا املجال واالطالع على آراء املستخدمني لفهم احتياجات عمالئنا .وقد املستخدمني بوجود ملسنا رغبة شاحنة جديد وأنيق يلبي إيموجي الشاحنة املميزة .وقد أثمرت تطلعاتهم حول مفهوم جهود الفريق عن تصميم إيموجي عصري يناسب هواتف جميع عشاق الشاحنات في العالم". وفي حال تمت املوافقة على إيموجي شاحنة البيك آب في مطلع عام ،2020سيتم تخصيصه عبر كافة منصات الهواتف املتحركة ليتوافق مع احتياجات املستخدمني من التجار أو أفراد األسرة أو عشاق إيموجي.

وافقت الهيئة االتحادية للكهرباء والماء في اإلمارات العربية المتحدة على الصفقة مع شركة أكوا باور وشركة إم دي سي باور القابضة (ذ.م.م)، وهي شركة تابعة لشركة مبادلة للستثمار في أبوظبي .سوف تمتلك هيئة كهرباء ومياه دبي حصة ٪ 20بينما تملك كل من أكوا باور ومبادلة يوميا .سيبدأ البناء في النصف .٪ 40ستنضم حكومة أم القيوين كشريك وتمتلك حصة في وقت الحق في مصنع بقيمة 150مليون جالون ً الثاني من عام ،2019مع تحديد اإلنتاج األولي للمياه في عام .2021 هذا المشروع هو أول أصول الهيئة في شراكة مع القطاع الخاص وسيعزز استراتيجية اإلمارات لألمن المائي .وبمجرد البدء في العمل ،ستكون المحطة أكبر مشروع لتحلية المياه في شمال اإلمارات.

سيعمل مشروع المرجان على زيادة إنتاج الحقل بمقدار 300000برميل/اليوم من النفط العربي المتوسط و 2.5مليار قدم مكعب/يوم من الغاز من خالل بناء محطة لفصل الغاز عن النفط في الخارج و 24منصة بحرية للنفط والغاز .تخطط الشركة لتوسيع منشآتها في حقل طناجيب النفطي وبناء محطة جديدة للغاز لتشمل معالجة الغاز واستخالص سوائل الغاز الطبيعي وتفتيتها ومنشآت ضغط الغاز. كيلومتر من الكابالت تحت ًا مقطعا و 150 تتضمن الحزمة الثانية 200كيلومتر من خطوط أنابيب تحت سطح البحر عبر 21 ً مقطعا ،باإلضافة إلى ثالث منصات ربط وتسع منصات لرؤوس آبار النفط .وفي الوقت نفسه ،تتضمن الحزمة البحر عبر 15 ً الثالثة شبكة إنتاج أغطية الغاز وغيرها من منصات ربط فوق البئر ،إلنتاج حقن الغاز وأغطية الغاز غير المرتبطة. ُيطلب من مقاولي مرجان إعطاء األولوية لشراء المواد والمعدات من الموردين والمصنعين المحليين لدعم هدف أرامكو السعودية المتمثل في زيادة سلعها وخدماتها من مصادر محلية إلى ٪70بحلول عام .2021وتبقى الطاقة القصوى إلنتاج النفط في أرامكو عند 12مليون برميل/اليوم. 71
