Breaking from the standard show offering, SMT GB has swapped machines out in favour of showcasing their extensive range of services and solutions now available nationwide.

SMT GB’s product management team will be on-hand to talk to stand visitors about everything there is to know regarding the company’s exciting new range of services and solutions, which include MySMT, SiteSim, SMT ProCare, Volvo Co-Pilot and Unicontrol 3D machine control.

MySMT is the company’s brand new customer information and service portal. Using a secure, web-based site, MySMT enables customers to monitor and manage almost every aspect of their machine fleet, both on the move or from the office.

By employing a commercial-grade surveying drone, SiteSim creates a highly sophisticated 3D model of your site, which is then combined with machine performance and telematics data to provide you with an accurate insight into the real-world impact of implementing proposed site optimisation changes, such as site layout, improved machine pairing and haul operation optimisation.

Taking machine data to the next level, SMT’s professionally trained ProCare team monitor multiple data sources to identify any potential issues before they have a chance to develop into costly and lengthy repairs. Not only does this maximise machine uptime, but also provides peace of mind from knowing that your machine investment remains protected.

Co-Pilot is Volvo’s state-of-the-art touchscreen tablet that powers all of the Volvo Assist platforms. By using Volvo Co-Pilot, operators can set up projects in just a few touches of the screen, and monitor progress in real-time as the job gets underway.

Unicontrol’s solution allows machine control to be retrofitted on machines already in the field and across mixed fleets. Advanced GPS and 3D modelling technology allow operators to work more independently and precisely.
