TELEMEDICINE

If you are enrolled in the HMS medical plan, you and your family (spouse, dependents, parents and parents-in-law) have access to Health Advocate’s Telemedicine program, powered by MeMD.
· Easy access to medical care for non-urgent issues after hours, on weekends or anytime · Addresses a wide range of health issues including colds, flu, fever, cough, allergies, skin infections, eye infections, sprains, strains, and more. · Webcam consults available online and on mobile devices, 24/7/365 · Experienced, board-certified MeMD medical providers · Avoids closed offices, crowded waiting rooms and waiting days for an appointment · Easy, one-click access from the Health Advocate member website · Consultations usually available in 30 minutes or less, at no cost.

To request a confidential online consult with a licensed MeMD provider, simply log in to the Health Advocate member website and click the “Telemedicine” button (under “Health”). You’ll be connected directly to the MeMD portal.
