Did you know your membership comes with two great ways to try something new? All members receive one complimentary FIT Evaluation and one complimentary Pilates Reformer demonstration. Both are yours to use whenever you're ready. These sessions never expire, so there's no pressure to fit them in on a tight timeline.
Meet with a personal trainer for a body composition scan, review the results together, and walk away with a few exercises or stretches tailored to you. It's a great starting point if you're new to the gym, or a solid reset if you're looking to switch things up.

Jack and Laura's story began in a step aerobics class at Super-Fit in San Mateo in 1984—proof that sometimes the best relationships start with a shared workout. This August, they'll celebrate 40 years of marriage. Since joining the PJCC in 2004, they've continued dancing their way through life together. Jack credits their lasting marriage to "treating your partner with kindness and not sweating the small stuff, unless you're in a Group Ex class!"
For their family, the PJCC has become much more than a fitness center. From new classes and welcoming instructors to raising an active family, it's been a place where lifelong wellness and community flourish. One of Laura's favorite memories is introducing their new granddaughter to the indoor pool for the very first time. A moment that captures how the PJCC has stayed part of their family's story across generations.

Ready for a pickleball game?
No reservations, no hassle. Our courts are first-come, first-served. Equipment is available for rent at the Welcome Center. Just exchange your membership card for gear and head over to the courts.
Pickleball Court Hours
Monday–Thursday: 5 am–Sunset
Friday: 5 am–6:30 pm
Saturday: 7 am–5:30 pm
Sunday: 7 am–6:30 pm
If both courts are full and others are waiting, please rotate out after your game, so everyone gets a chance to play. Thank you for helping to keep the courts welcoming for all!

Thank you for celebrating with us at our annual Fun in the Sun pool party. An afternoon of BBQ, splashing, hula hooping and more, is exactly what makes this community what it is, and we're grateful you spend your days here at the PJCC.
By the numbers:
► 500 members joined the party
► 1,250 combined hours of fun
► 532 hot dogs eaten
► 400+ popsicles enjoyed
► 4 hula hoop contest champions crowned
And the hot dog poll results are in! Last month we asked you to guess how many hot dogs would be eaten at Fun in the Sun. Your guesses were ambitious—the boldest came in at 804—and the average landed right around 600. With the actual count of 532 hot dogs, your guesses were right on the mark.
Thanks again for making it such a great day. We can't wait to do it all again next year!

Our indoor pool will be temporarily closed for resurfacing September 1 – October 31, reopening November 1 with a brand-new surface. Thanks for your patience!
The heated outdoor pool will remain open. During this time, swim lessons will be held outdoors, at a reduced rate. Contact the Aquatics office for more information.
