Joe Papaleo's Co-Ed Soccer Camp Longstanding veteran CBA Boys Varsity Coach Joe Papaleo and his camp staff made up of local college and high school coaches and college players are all experienced in training youth. Sports Camps

Mr. B’s Basketball Camp Mr. B’s basketball camp is a Co-ed developmental Basketball Camp for ages 6-16 in the CBA gymnasium. It will be held this summer July 13th—16th , 9:00am to 3:00pm. The camp fee of $200 includes all instruction, team snacks, dream shot, prize competition, games, camp shirt, digital awards board, and your own camp basketball to take home. Students provide a bag lunch; the camp provides drinks and snacks. CBA is proud to present Hobart College Head Basketball Coach & former CBA basketball player Stefan Thompson ’09 as Camp Director! CBA Modified Softball Camp A The CBA Modified Softball Camp is open to all girls entering grades 7 through 9. The camp will focus on developing fundamental softball skills, including fielding mechanics, hitting mechanics, baserunning, and overall agility, while maintaining a fun atmosphere (pitching mechanics will not be addressed). Camp runs from July 6th - July 8th, 1 pm - 3 pm on the CBA Softball field (camp will continue in gym if inclement weather) Rain date July 9th. Cost $100 Limit first 20 players. CBA Infielder’s Baseball Camp The CBA Infielder's Baseball Camp offers a unique opportunity for players entering 7th - 12th grade to enhance their infield play. Conditioning and drills work will focus on all aspects of the infielder’s game, ranging from footwork to defensive situations, with each player receiving at least 100 ground balls per day. Camp runs from July 6th— July 9th, 9am—12 noon, on the CBA field. Limit first 20 players. Payment is non-refundable after June 18th. Kohl’s Kicking Camp This camp has a teaching atmosphere with competitions at the end of camp for kickers, punters, and snappers. Each camper will see themselves on film, spend 2.5 hours learning specific fundamentals in the classroom, learn and participate in multiple drills to apply to their daily routine, compete in camp competitions, have camp charts get posted, receive a 60 page training manual, meet and develop a relationship with our senior staff or potentially NFL/College players who are often guest coaches, and be considered for select Kohl's competition events. Camp registration will be at 8:00am and camp will end between 4:30pm-5pm. If you are registered as punter only there is a reduced cost and we ask that you show up at 11:30am to be filmed at around 11:50am. There will be a camp intermission from 12pm-1:15pm and punter only campers will join the rest of campers for the remaining 3.5 hours of camp. Please note: To help Kohl’s plan effectively we will reward campers who sign up early. The camp price will increase $25 for campers who register within 30 days of camp.

CBA Girls Volleyball Camp The CBA girl’s volleyball camp is for players of all skill levels, (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) who are interested in improving their all around volleyball ability. Volleyball coaches are highly qualified and can provide your child with high levels of volleyball training, focusing on all aspects off the game, while helping to teach important life skills, such as teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, respect, and cooperation. We will be focused on developing individual skills and learning team concepts. Players will be taught ball handling skills, team drills, serving, defensive and offensive positioning, court knowledge and awareness. In addition to learning many valuable skills and values your child will have fun and build relationships and memories.

“Cut Down the Nets” Co-Ed Basketball Camp Your camp director is Head Oswego State Basketball coach and CBA Hall of Famer Jason Leone. This camp is open to ages 7—16 and runs July 26th—29th from 9:00 am—3:00 pm. Camp includes instruction, contests, 3 games per day, camp shirt & basketball. Bring a packed lunch & beverage. CBA College Personal Statement Workshop Session 1: July 19th —July 21st (Monday – Wednesday) Session 2: July 26th— July 28th (Monday – Wednesday) Session 3: August 2nd —4th (Monday – Wednesday) The sessions are all repeats – you should only attend one.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions - these workshops are limited to 15 students each session. Get a head start on your college application process with this 3 day workshop. One of the most important parts of your college application will be your personal statement. It’s how you let college admissions counselors see YOU. Over the course of three days, you will be guided toward the topics that best suit your personality. Once you have drafted a statement, we will work together to revise it and make it the best it can be. This workshop is only the start – Mrs. Mannion will assist you as you go through the application process, helping you to fine tune your statement for each college and work on any additional essays your chosen college(s) may require.

Academic Camps

The Dale Carnegie® Course for Teen Adults In today’s world, communication, people skills, stress management and leadership ability are critical, especially for young adults. During this course, participants will strengthen their abilities to speak in front of groups, engage with people, develop win-win outcomes and most importantly prioritize and understand what is and is not within their control and take action on what they can.

This program is used globally and has delivered results to over 3 million graduates. Skills and tools taught in this program enable young teens to succeed in college, jobs and their personal lives.
