Sender, Receiver, and Display connection.

RESOLUTION we will have to choose our working resolution from the dropdown bar, either it's standard or custom, and the preferred refresh frequency.

STEP1 CLICK DEFAULT First click default button to set everything to default settings

CHECK CURRENT HARDWARE Check your hardware's refresh frequency via the Check Hardware button and adjust if necessary.

CUSTOM RESOLUTION If you work with a custom resolution that you can not find in the Resolution dropdown tab, hit the Custom button and modify the parameters according to your source's custom resolution and refresh rate.

SAVE TO SENDER When all parameters are filled in, go ahead and Save to Sender.

RECEIVER TAB After you have successfully configured your sender, it's time to move on and configure the receivers (the LED panels themselves)

STEP 1 LOAD RCG FILE first of all we will have to load our LEDscreen's correct RCG file.

STEP 2 SYNCHRO REFRESH Choose our refresh rate under the Synchro Refresh dropdown bar.

CHECK IF WORKING CORRECLY Check if our LED panels are reset and working correctly, Press YES to the prompt question on the screen.

If we notice anything strange with the Led panels we can revert them to their previous configuration by pressing NO to the prompt question on the screen.

SAVE TO RECEIVER If your RCG file is sent and looks good, go ahead and Save to Receiver. you find this button next to the previous “send to receiver”

DISPLAY CONNECTION Next we will have to configure our Display Connection, in the way that our panels are connected via the data cables.

RECEIVER No. First we will have to fill in the number of horizontal and vertical panels that our screen consists of (horizontal card/vertical card).

CARD INFORMATION Under Selected Card Information, we will need to fill in the horizontal and vertical number of pixels for one panel under Width and Height.

CHECK THE SCREEN Check one final time if the LED screen you setup is correctly working.

SAVE TO FILE finally we can save our connection file on our computer via the Save to file button on the bottom side of the page.

BRIGHTNESS MENU Back in the main menu of LedSet, after our screen is configured and in it's final form, we can adjust and fine-tune the appearance of our image on the screen via the “Brightness” menu.

Turn the knob on each digital position, and change the value of the digital by the digital buttons on the front panel.

After the digital, push the knob will add *, means before the * is the horizontal size.

After the digital, push the knob will add @, means before the @ is the vertical size, and after the @ is the refresh rate.

After input all the values, push the knob to enable the processor to output this resolution. Processor will take 5~10 seconds to enable this output resolution.

For example, input 1536 as following

Only digital 50 or digital 60 supports for the refresh rate. Use the digital buttons to finish the settings, For example, input refresh rate 60:

Push the [PIP] button, the LED light is on, and enter to the PIP menu items. OLED module show as follows:

LINSN X8216 PROCESSOR With a compact design and robust personality , the X8216 brings functionality also to a higher level with it's 10.4 million pixel coverage over the 16 available ports.

The front panel allows convenient switching between the available sources , giving the user the possibility of choosing between DisplayPort 1.2 , HDMI 1.4 , HDMI 2.0 , Dual DVI and even VGA in order to satisfy every need of commonly used interfaces.

It can cover up to 8192 pixels horizontally or 4000 pixels vertically , it can easily cope with custom resolutions on 50 or 60 hertz refresh rate and can even go up to 120 hertz for 3D functionality.

It comes with a full color display that gives the user the possibility of quick adjustments also from the menu and not only from the software interface.

MAIN MENU The main menu welcomes us with user friendly pictograms that give you a visual description of it's functionality as well as a written description of it .

That way the user can easily go to the desired submenu folder and change the preferred settings.

ADVANCED MENU The change from it's native 60 hertz refresh frequency to 50 hertz can be done from the Advance menu, then going into the Adjust Image submenu and under the Output Frequency , select the 50 hertz option.

This is most usefull for using the controller in special environments like TV shows , live camera captation and other situations that require this refresh rate.

SCENES MENU Creating scenes has never been easier, thanks to the scenes creator embedded in the main menu subfolder.

Here you can make your own scenes according to the resolution that you work on, the mode (2D or 3D) and the preferred layout method (that can go up to 3-window layouts).

INPUTS MENU – EDID Management Another important characteristic of the new LINSN 4K controller is the EDID management available in the Inputs submenu.

Via this function you can send information to your source about the available resolutions and refresh frequencies, and you can even create your custom EDID to make the handshake between your LINSN 4k controller and your source in use.

PIP FUNCTION – SCALER FUNCTION Other important characteristics that need to be mentioned are the PIP function (Picture in Picture ). where you can select two or three different sources and merge them in the same output layout.

The scaler function that allows the user to match the input resolution to the screen size when receiving a full screen signal that needs to match a custom screen size.
