Kim T. Allison, Associate Instructional Professor
Teaches: Illustration
(1995) M.F.A. in Illustration, Savannah College of Art and Design, M.A. in English: Creative Writing, Pittsburg State University. Specialties: Illustration, Corporate Identity, Digital Painting, Watercolor. Professional Memberships: Society of Illustrators, Society of Children's Book Writers, and Illustrators. Selected Recent Exhibitions: 2021 Pittsburg State Art Faculty: A Group Exhibition. 2017 Crawford County Mental Health Brighter Days Exhibition, Pittsburg, Kansas. 2013 Pittsburg Public Library. Kim has worked as a full-time studio designer for companies that specialize in the travel and leisure industry and creative needlework. She has worked as a freelancer creating art for personal stationery and corporate identity projects.
Mayumi Makino Kiefer, Assistant Instructional Professor
Teaches: Ceramics
(2010) BFA-3D Studio Arts, Ohio Northern University; (2019) MFA - Ceramics & Sculpture, The University of Oklahoma. Specialties: Functional, Figurative and Passive Feminism Ceramics; Recent Selected Exhibitions & Awards: Art & Soul of the Magic Valley, Juror's Choice 3D 2020, Twin Falls, ID; Seven State Biennial 1st in 3D, 2nd Place Overall), (2017, OK, AR, KS, MO, TX, NM, CO) at various galleries. Her works are found in numerous private collections, including Kathleen Turner, Baker O'Brien, Richard Notkin and more, and can be found in museums such as The Museum of the Red River, the Museum at the Utah State University Eastern. She is an adjudicated member of artaxis.org and a long-term member of NCECA.
Olivia Timmons, Assistant Instructional Professor
Teaches: Printmaking
(2002) B. F. A. in Printmaking, California College of the Arts. (2009) M.F.A. in Printmaking, Arizona State University. Specialties: Printmaking (intaglio, lithography, relief and screenprinting) and Drawing. Selected Recent Exhibitions: (2022) Found, Reclaimed, Reformed Portfolio Exchange, Mid America Print Council Conference, Kent State University; Kent, OH. (2021) Surface Tension, Sleeth Gallery, West Virginia Wesleyan College; Buckhannon, WV. (2019) Coming to the Surface, Kresge Foundation Art Gallery, Olivet College; Olivet, MI. (2019) 37th Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition at Bradley University; Peoria, IL. Her work is in several private and public collections and her professional memberships include Mid America Print Council and Southern Graphics Council International.
